The Truth About Fame (Important A/N)

This is a topic that people usually ignore or don't see.

Everyone, especially children are told that being famous will bring joy. Sure, it can, but so many celebrities had so many things happen to them because people didn't like them.

Fame comes with a price. And sure, people will hear that and go "Okay, then I'll pay it," but how many of you are gonna actually do it or want it or think you do after I tell you this?

MullyVr/sleepymully is hated for his weight and if you see where he started, he was more overweight than before and now he's wildly thinner. Weight isn't an easy thing to lose, so even if it doesn't look like it from your computer or phone screen, he's lost a lot of weight. In some videos when the boys tease him about his weight, if you listen closely, you can hear the hurt in his voice when he thinks they went too far. Sure, he has luxurious things, but those are replaceable, not his physical body.

Technoblade, as we know passed away due to cancer and the whole time people would say "He deserves it," "I hope he dies from it," and other hurtful things like that, some not even knowing who he truly was because they were a hater of the Dream SMP while others just assumed the worst of him and took his jokes far too easily.

Dream has been hated on, it's no secret. Ever since his face reveal, some of his "fans" keep telling him to put his mask back on. He had a few live concerts this year and people bullied him for crying while singing a song about his dead best friend on stage.

Zayn Malik is being hated on just for being Muslim. When he was like eighteen-ish or so, 9/11 happened. And I guess it doesn't matter that he was literally living in Bradford and performing for X Factor in a totally different country. They bashed the young star, sending him serious hate and even called the poor boy a "Terrorist" and made photoshopped images and rude articles about him being part of it.

Quackity and EddieVr/special ed are hated for speaking their native language. Quackity was almost cancelled because people were just wanting to be racist fucks and wanted him off twitch. Eddie deals with this shit all the time in the comments, but just because he doesn't seem to care doesn't make it right.

Michael Jackson was purposely given an over the counter medicine by his doctor who did not like him and overdosed. The doctor was arrested, thank fuck, but we still lost The King Of Pop because of one asshole.

Marilyn Monroe is one of the most famous sex symbols in history. She was also one of the very first celebrities that confronted sexual assault. Just because she was a feminist who was gorgeous and famous, she got sexually assaulted by three men at once. And since women didn't really have that many rights yet but we're making their way to the top, men just didn't give a fuck. They saw her as a beautiful, defenseless, rich, talented girl and hurt her. I hope those assholes are burning and rotting in hell right now for what they did to such a queen.

Ellen is constantly being hated on for being a lesbian. She has a beautiful and loving wife and such an adorable relationship with her and people just can't except that. Fuck you, homophobes.

Kylee Jenner went on a walk in France where a man ran up and kissed her ass. He was arrested for sexual assault and was held down by security. It's kinda like Marilyn Monroe's situation, but not full on attack and the fact Kylee had highly trained security guards on sight with her and Marilyn didn't.

Justin Bieber was asked far too personal and sexual questions during interviews when he was seventeen by middle aged women who kept trying to hit on him. He was insanely uncomfortable and awkward throughout the live interview.
