Chapter 2

“LOTTIE!” screamed Jay “What have you done now!”

“What do you mean, what have I done now?” I repliedquietly from the corner of my room.

“Don’t worry! You just go round being weird, making everyone think I'm as strange as you are! The coolest kid in town found out about your little blip the other day and now when I walk down the street I get the ‘Look it’s the freak’s brother’ look. Do you have any idea how embarrassing that is?”

“DO I HAVE ANY IDEA HOW ….URRH” I angrily replied.

Jay just doesn’t know how hard it is for me… urrh, the only reason he will talk to me is to whine about it.

“And what blip” I said after calming down

“I just don’t know any more Lottie, you have too many”

I slammed the door and ignored him. I did know what he was talking about when he said the blip. Most people call it a blip when I just stop in the middle of doing something and stare because I’m having a vision I can’t control.

Right then I had had a vision, it was strange and kind of blurred…. All I saw was the forest where my hut was. And then it was gone. I didn’t know why someone was trying to show me this.

Ring… Ring. My phone rang and it was Max.

“Hello, Lottie speaking.”

“Hi, it’s Max, what are you doing?”

“Oh hi Max, umm I'm not doing much other than ignoring my life! Why?”

“I just thought we could meet up, I need to tell you some thing….”

“LOTTIE!” Yelled by mum, “DINNERS READY”

“Sorry Max I got to go for dinner. Can I meet you tomorrow morning?”

“It’s ok Lottie, ok see you then. Bye”

“Bye Max”

“LOTTIE!” Mum repeated.

“I'm COMING!”

It was really awkward at the dinner table that night, Jay was in a bad mood because of me and there was absolutely no conversation at all. As I wasn’t going to eat the rest of my dinner I just asked to be excused from the table and went to bed.
