Adrien wakes up the late the next morning, his mind fuzzy unable to think clearly without thinking about what Felix told him. I can't tell what is reality and what is fantasy anymore. This can't be true. He lays his hand against his forehead as it began to pound from the amount of thoughts running through his head. He glances over at Plagg who was still asleep in the jewelry box. How did Felix know. He must've seen me somewhere he shouldn't have as Argos. Adrien squeezes his eyes tightly until he begins to see spirals of colors swirl behind his eyelids.
He opens his eyes slowly before sliding off his bed. He runs his hand through his hair attempting to distract himself from the mass amount of information that was laid on him the night prior.
He opens the door and begins shuffling towards Nathalie's office. There wasn't a single sound coming from the inside besides the distant sound of tapping against a keyboard. Adrien reaches his fist up against the door before knocking hesitantly.
"Come in," Nathalie says from the other side of the door. Adrien reaches for the handle and slowly opens the door. "Good morning, Adrien. Breakfast has already been served if that's what you're here for." She informed as she continues to work on the computer simultaneously scanning the documents on the corner of the desk. "Thank you, but that's not exactly why I'm interrupting you," He responds closing the door behind him looking directly at her. She glances up at him from the computer before saving her draft to shift her full attention onto him. "Yes?" She inquires sitting back into her chair.
Adrien pulls a chair out while thinking how to ask Nathalie about his identity. He looks down at his rings, "You know the wedding bands my parents had before they both passed away and how Ladybug returned them to me?" He starts looking back up at her as he begins to fidget with them. She nods slowly, puzzled at where he could be going with this. He grimaces, "Felix spat some of his ridiculous theories about them last night," he chuckled watching Nathalie's face shift from an expression to a pure white expression displaying fear.
Adrien notices this and sits up before clenching his fist. "What exactly did he tell you, Adrien?" She demanded regaining composure realizing that Felix told him the truth. "I think you already knew, but why didn't you or anyone tell me?" He whispers twisting the rings together in defeat. Nathalie sits there in silence watching his body language change to demonstrate betrayal. He slams on her desk sending the papers flying onto the floor.
Nathalie watches him as guilt began to overwhelm her, "We did it to protect you, Adrien." She admits looking down at the papers. He rolls his eyes, "Let me guess you also helped my father to protect me as well?" He snaps leaning against her desk, getting close to her face. Her eyes widen letting her mouth fall open in complete shock. "Adrien- it wasn't like that." She explained feeling the blood rush from her face to the lower part of her body.
He bites his lip pulling away, "My mother died the same way you were supposed to die, but my father wished for you?" He snaps almost immediately regretting his word choice.
Her eyes began to weld up with tears before standing from her chair. "I didn't ask to be brought back to full health, Adrien. His whole plan was to bring back your mother. I don't know why he chose me." She admits grabbing a tissue to dab her tears away.
Adrien leans off of her desk and walks towards the door, "My father has always been a failure even as a villain he couldn't fall through with his original plans." He mutters opening the door and slamming it behind him.
Nathalie sobs once he left the room covering her mouth to muffle the sounds coming from her mouth. I didn't want to hurt you, Adrien.

Adrien marches up to Felix's room and swings his door open without hesitation. Felix jumps out of bed to facing his cousin. "What else are you hiding from me," Adrien snaps slamming his door shut behind him marching over to his bed. Felix's eyes widen, "N-nothing I told you everything." He trembles putting his hands in front of his face. Adrien pulls him off of his bed, "WHY did you help him. Why did you go against us." He growls staring at him as Duusu jumps behind Felix's shoulder. "I did it for the peacock miraculous to keep us safe. I wanted nothing to do with Paris's drama I promise." He reassures nervously.
Adrien scans him up at down, "My father may have still been alive if you didn't give him the miraculouses," He snapped gritting his teeth at him. Felix watches in shock, "W-what do you mean he sacrificed himself didn't he?" He stammered backing away from Adrien. "He only did it because I cataclysmed him." He hissed, "I killed my father without having any idea it was him." He adds also taking a step away from Felix in return.
Felix winces watching Adrien fall to his knees. "I killed my parents," He whispers looking down at his hands as he began sobbing. He bows his head against the wooden floors. Felix squats down to his level, "You didn't know either way, it's not your fault." He attempts to comfort quietly. Adrien shakes his head, "I- I did it on purpose, Felix. I was using it as a threat to get the miraculouses back. And he leaned into it, like a fool." He whimpered as tears fell to the floor.
Plagg comes through the wall and sees Adrien in as a complete wreck. He looks up to Felix and Duusu. Duusu shrugs back at Plagg in response.
"Adrien it's not your fault. You didn't know. You couldn't have known." Felix continues touching Adrien's shoulder in attempts to console him. Adrien inhales looking up at him, "I know... I'm sorry, Felix." He whispers sitting on his knees. "Why are you apologizing to me? I dumped everything onto you without acknowledging your feelings first." He whispers softly ashamed he hurt his beloved cousin.
Adrien inhales before hugging him, "You are the only family I have that would tell me the truth while trying to protect me. I'm glad you told me even after everything." He whispers as it muffled through Felix's sleep T-shirt. Felix sits there unknowing what to do in return so he just pats Adrien on the back softly.
Adrien pulls away looking at the clock, "I need to go," he mutters looking down at his phone to double check the time. "She wouldn't like it if you made her wait," Felix winks referring to Ladybug. Adrien furrows his eyebrows as he crosses his arms as he stands up, "Let me guess, you also know her identity?" He inquires sourly almost out of jealousy. Felix face drops and shrugs with a small smile. Adrien sighs shaking his head, "She'll tell anyone but me huh?" He chuckles lightly. Felix shakes his head, "She didn't tell me either, Adrien." He responds putting his finger up to his mouth. Adrien blinks and nods as he walks out of Felix's bedroom.

Felix grimaces looking over at Duusu, "I have a horrible feeling about this." He mutters standing up from his squatted position. Duusu shrugs, "I still think you did the best you could," she smiles before the door opened without warning. Duusu immediately hides in the closet.
"Felix what have you done." Nathalie snapped slamming the door behind her. Felix sighs, "what's with everyone slamming my door today," he groans crossing his arms. Nathalie marches over to him, "You know as well as I do how sensitive that information is and that fact you told him without hesitation RIGHT after he found out who his father was. What was going through your head?" She stammers frantically in a panic. Felix notices she was noticeably trembling.
Felix shrugs, "As if you had any plans of telling him," he mutters glaring at her. Nathalie's eyes widen as her jaw clenches, "You think I wasn't going to tell him, what's next? Are you going to tell him about the lair?" She suggests unintentionally balling up her fist. Felix raises his eyebrow, "So, you're telling me you weren't going to tell him about his original plan?" He inquires smirking while he tilts his head leading her into a trap.
Nathalie closes her eyes and inhales sharply through his nose. "I don't know why that would be necessary." She hisses opening her eyes to continue to glare at him. Felix laughs, "Maybe it would've been better if my uncle brought back Emilie." He replies in a sharp tone, fully aware it would hurt her.
Nathalie straightens her posture and turns to walk out of his room. "Felix, you don't care about him. Only yourself." She mutters closing the door behind her.
Felix furrows his eyebrows watching her close the door. What a pitiful woman.
