Chapter 9 ~ Married

The view of Biscayne Bay was magnificent against the backdrop of the dark sky and onyx colored sea. The bay was filled with yachts draped in lights , it appeared as if they were floating in the air. I enjoyed the view as Remi prepared drinks for us.

My phone began to vibrate again, tonight was for Remi so I ignored the previous calls coming in, this time seeing that it was Carlos I answered.

Quietly I turned around and accepted the glass. My eyes searched her face for answers. I need answers. The only way to get them is by asking the question, but I wasn't ready.
