"Estebana!" I hear Remi call for our daughter and can hear the anxiety in her voice.
"What is that little girl doing?" Remi asks out loud. I'm unsure if she is expecting an answer but I will give her one anyway.
"Miko is giving her a bath, Estefania just finished her hair, are you okay?" I envelop my wife in my arms.
"I am it just that what if -" I hear the panic in her voice.
"My Love everything will be fine, I promise" I hold her tight. We finally arranged for our parents to join us for dinner. We have not told them about Estebana or the fact that we are married. My parents just think they are coming to meet my new girlfriend and Remi-Blu's parents think it is just a meeting to reconcile.
Everything is perfect, we are hosting our parents at Estefania's, we figure it's neutral ground. We have been preparing for this for a couple of weeks. I am sure it will work out and if not, it will be our parents' loss, not ours.
"Mommy" Estebana rushed in the room and wedged herself between Remi and I
"Little Girl, are you ready to get dressed?" Remi kisses our baby, I can't believe in another week she will be four years old.
"Yes, look at my hair, it's just like Aunties?'" My daughter loves everything my sister does, and everything is just like her Aunties...I shake my head watching Remi's face, she doesn't know what to do with Ria.
"Yes, it is pretty, now go with Miko so you can put on your clothes. Before she marches away I grab her up and kiss her cheeks. She giggles, that is a sound I love to hear.
"You are Daddy's pretty baby" I look at my daughter with pride and love. What did I do to deserve such a wonderful family? Estebana answers me with more giggles and squirms out of my arms running back to Miko, I look at Remi and laugh. She was giving Estebana that "You better Look" that all Moms give their kids.
"We should get dressed, your parents should be here soon and my parents' flight landed an hour ago" I can tell Remi is on the edge with nervous anticipation.
I walk over to Remi pull the belt of her robe and push it off her shoulders. "No no no, I just took a shower and we don't have time for this" Remi protested
"Shhh, you need to relax and I know how to do that." I place a long kiss on her lips and lift Remi. She wraps her legs around my waist and returns the kiss. Before she can say another word I have her pressed against the wall and already entered her. "Remi-Blu you know I love you"
"Yes" Remi's answer is breathy
"You know I will not allow anyone to hurt you or Estebana" Looking her in the eyes I do the one thing that I know calms her, I proceed to fuck her brains out, while I still wait for her to answer.
"Yes," she replies, holding onto me like I may slip away.
"Then what are you worried about" I feel how close she is by the way she grinds into me giving me an answer.
"Nothing...I have nothing to worry about"
I can tell her body is ready, kissing her, taking her over the edge, and making sure she comes hard.
Now we are both relaxed. I carry her to the bathroom so we can shower together. I take care of her and wash and massage her body.
Remi"
"Are you guys nervous?' Estefania asks Esteban and I as we walk into the open space.
"No" we reply in unison and then laugh
"Good because we have guests" Estefania gets up to let her parents into her apartment.
I hear Estefania and her parents greet each other as they walk towards the living room. Esteban squeezes my hand. Here we go
