Chapter Six: MASON
"Ahem." I quickly opened my eyes. It was Stellina. I totally forgot she was there.
"Damn." I thought. "I was about to kiss her."
"Ok, well we need to clean your burn Anna." I said.
"What should I do?"
"I was thinking you'll just lay here. I can get a damp wash cloth for you to clamp your teeth down on... You know... In case you, uh, scream."
"WHAT?"
"Well you know, it might burn a little."
"Ok. You're right." Anna said. "I guess." She added as an afterthought. "Should we do this now?"
"We can wait a few minutes if you want."
"No, it's ok."
"Ok, so, um. Stellina do you want to hold Anna's hand and I'll clean the wound?"
"Sure."
I scooted over on the floor and Stellina took Anna's hand. Sometimes I wished I had siblings. I got out the wound cleanser.
"Ok, everyone ready?" I asked.
"Mmhm." Anna mumbled since she was clamping down on the washcloth with her teeth.
