Chapter Fifteen: STELLA
Those two disgusted me. The whole time we ate lunch they stared and smiled at each other. They are two silly love birds. Truthfully I was jealous. I had never had a boyfriend before. But I can see why. We had to start running when I was seven, and I'm only eleven now. I feel so much older though. Maybe I should give them a chance.
"So, um, are you guys boyfriend and girlfriend?" I asked awkwardly. Stacy looked up at Mason with a smile on her face.
"What?" Mason asked.
"Are you and Stacy dating?" I asked again. Mason looked down at Stacy before saying yes. Truthfully, they were really cute together. I was so jealous.
"Why'd you ask?" Stacy asked me.
"I-I dunno. Just curious I guess." I replied.
"Ok, just wondering." Stacy turned back around to Mason. She held out her hand and Mason put his hand next to hers. His was so much bigger than hers, that he could curl the end of his fingertips over hers. Stacy smiled up at Mason. If I wasn't there, I'm pretty sure they would've kissed. Blah!
