Chapter 11
-------------~-----------------------
Oh. Dear. Arceus. Hickory...the tourist who found my Eevee and delivered Orange's note to me. The same guy. I knew it, it was unmistakable.
"Ellie?" Monique asked quietly, her voice shaking in the slightest. "Is that-"
"Yes." I replied before she could finished. "He's here. And he's looking at me." Glaceon stared at him suspiciously. I suddenly felt faint again.
"Oh, goodness! Whats going on over here?" I heard a Nurse Joy's high pitched voice ring through the center. Hickory smiled as she rushed to my side. "Oh, sweet child, let me have her, dear." Joy put her hands over Monique's to take me from her, but Monique pulled back quicker than she could handle. I lost my balance and started to fall backwards. Unfortunately, neither Joy or Monique caught the hint in time, and I couldn't catch myself without being in excruciating pain. So my head hit the ground and the world was black once again.

"Ellie....Elllliieeeeee....Wake up...."
I groaned and picked up my head. I was staring face to face with Orange. I screamed and jumped back.
"Ellie? Whats the matter?" Monique asked me, worry in her voice. I blinked a couple times, then sighed.
"I thought you were Orange." I admitted, relief in my voice. Monique scrunched up her nose and took a step back.
"Me? Orange? Yuuuuccckkk no resemblance there." She shook her hands as if she had cooties on them. I snorted, then realized I didn't know where we were. The beds were covered in cream sheets and crisp white blankets, and there were many beds in the room. A couple oxygen tanks and other machines I didn't recognize sat stranded in the middle of the hallway. I guessed we were in a hospital. Probably the Pokemon Center hospital.
"We need to get out of here." I said. "How much time do we have left?"
"One day. You were out all night." Monique said with a sigh, her hands folded in her lap. "And you can't walk." I flexed my bad leg and pain shot up my side.
"Glay-ce, Glaceon!" Glaceon decided then to make an appearance and jumped on the bed, nuzzling my head. "Glay glay!" I sighed, wishing I could understand. Glaceon huffed and stood over my leg. Then she blew some ice on it. Monique and I exchanged glances. Then Glaceon pointed down the hall with her tail.
"THATS IT!" Monique said suddenly, jumping up from the bed. Glaceon jumped up and down excitedly. "We can make an ice crutch!" My partner's head fell and her face turned boring.
"No, I don't think thats what shes trying to say." I said, watching Glaceon closely. She leaped gracefully off the bed again and pranced over to a closet full of wheelchairs and crutches.
"Crutches!" Monique exclaimed, "See I told you-" Instead, Glaceon pushed out a wheelchair.
"We're not going to get very far on a wheelchair." The fire wielder grumbled. "Most certainly not through a city." Glaceon rolled her eyes and pointed with her ears down the hallway.
We watched as suddenly a man walked out of a room with a bag of ice, whistling a cheerful tune.
"Glay-glay!" Glaceon said excitedly, "Glaceon glay!"
"You want us to get a bag of ice?" Monique asked, obviously still confused. If Glaceon had hands versus paws, she'd be facepalming right now. I know it. Nevertheless, Monique helped me into the wheelchair and followed Glaceon down the hall. At this point I had a pretty good idea about what was going on.
