Lana sat perched on the steps once again. In the distance, she observed Carl and Rick tending to the pigs, resisting the urge to join them. It wasn't her job, after all, and despite Carl's arguing that she didn't work hard enough, he would throw a hissy fit if she even attempted to help out.

Closing her eyes, she sought solace in the wind's whistle and the occasional insect buzzing by. Momentarily lost in the serenity, a gunshot shattered the tranquillity, jolting her back to attention. Lizzie and Mika's frantic yelling as they raced outside set Lana into action, raising immediately and pulling them towards Carol as urgency filled the air. Rick raced past her without a glance, running through the crowd of people evacuating the prison.

A look toward the fence revealed Oliver opening the gate for Michonne, with walkers closing in. Contemplating whether to assist Michonne or those inside, Lana hesitated but ultimately chose to join the group entering the prison, her knife already in hand. Racing down the halls behind the group, the smell of blood grew stronger, confirming they were headed in the right direction. As they turned a corner, a gruesome sight awaited them – a bloodbath of walkers feasting on victims.
