The door slammed behind her as Lana entered the visiting room, seeing Carl on the other side of the glass. His head was turned to the ground until he heard the door, whipping his head forward and taking a step towards the glass.

"Lana.."

She smiled at him, stepping closer to the glass. "Hey, cowboy."

Carl scrunched his nose, a chuckle escaping his lips, "Cowboy? Seriously?"

"Yeah, cowboy. You've got the look down to a T. Minus the tumbleweed rolling by, I'd say you're halfway to starring in your own western." Lana teased, her grin infectious as she leaned in closer to the glass, her eyes flickering with a mischievous glint.

Carl chuckled, shaking his head. "Whatever. I think you've been spending too much time with Glenn."

The corners of Lana's lips twitched, trying to suppress her own laughter, failing as it echoed in the room. "Maybe I have. But can you blame me?"

Suddenly, Lana hunched over, coughing into her arm violently. She lost her balance slightly, having to lean up against the wall as she tried to compose herself again. Carl rushed up to the glass, pressing his hands against it in a panic.
