Lana's hands trembled with a mix of anticipation and nervousness as she gripped her pistol. Her target, a can, sat perched 20 feet away on a tree stump. With a shaking breath, she aligned her sights and squeezed the trigger, only to witness the bullet veer off course, colliding with a tree several feet to the side. A frustrated groan escaped her lips, echoing the disappointment she felt.

A comforting hand descended upon Lana's shoulder. Turning her head, she found Glenn standing beside her, a gentle smile on his face. "Hey," he reassured her, his voice calm and encouraging, "take a deep breath in and shoot when you breathe out. It keeps you steady."

Silently acknowledging his advice, Lana nodded and refocused on the stubborn can. She closed her eyes momentarily, shutting out the distractions around her, before reopening them with renewed determination. Inhaling deeply, she steadied herself, the rhythm of her breath synchronizing with the beating of her heart.

Once again, Lana took aim. As she exhaled, she pulled the trigger and the bullet sailed through the air. This time, the shot was more precise, the projectile grazing the side of the can. It wobbled momentarily before settling back into its original position.
