~The holo would answer as it detected something was wrong.~
Jeremy: "Dem? You there??"
Holo: "Good evening. I am sending you the location of Dem. Unfortunately, she is in what appears to be a critical condition."
~Jeremy would send the details to Captain Xavis, and they get an AV with a few soldiers and fly over to your location. The engram would be nothing but a pile of ash on the ground. Ten minutes later, the AV would hover over the grass, creating strong winds. Two soldiers would jump down and pull Dem up. They would examine the ash. One Soldier would look at the other.~
Soldier: "She..did it."
Dem: Her body would be covered in severe burns from overheating. She'd open my eyes slightly, looking around with blurred vision before closing my eyes again. The lights above would hurt. Then, ten days later, she'd wake up in a fancy medical center with Shep by her side and Jeremy on the other. "Augh, my head. What the hell happened?"
Shep: "You are lucky to be alive. Jeremy is to your left, sis."
~Jeremy would hold Dem's hand.~
Dem: "Thanks, Shep..."
~The room would be cold and very quiet.~
Jeremy: "I know you want to know what happened with the engram, but before that, meet Hanako Arasaka."
~Hanako would bow, and her eyes would glow gold.~
Hanako: "You have done a tremendous service to Arasaka., to our family."
Dem: "It's an honor to meet you. I apologize that I couldn't be in a better state and in proper attire. And I am glad to be able to help."
Hanako: "Please, no worries. You are probably wondering where you are." She'd look out the window.
~The windows would automatically open up, to a view of Mt Fuji, with a sunrise in the background.~
Hanako: "You were airlifted and brought here to Japan."
Dem: She'd look out the window. "Wow, it's beautiful."
Hanako: She'd smile. "Indeed it is. I also brought a gift for you." She'd set an Arasaka custom-made katana with gold and black made of rare material on the table beside you. "I see nothing but a bright future for you in the family. Rest well." She walks toward the door as Shep and Jeremy remain seated by the window.
Dem: "Am I really worthy of this? I do apologize for questioning your actions."
Hanako: "Do not worry. Soon, you will realize just how worthy of it you are. That katana is a beautiful example. Extremely rare and hard to find." She would walk out and meet with the bodyguards.
Shep: "So..Dem, wanna rest, or do you want us to fill you in on the aftermath?"
Dem: "I want to know what happened."
Shep: So..an AV that was following you, we tracked it back to the gigantic AVs they had where the engram was supposedly housed. Jeremy: Then, we launched this epic attack. Every pilot we sent obliterated every last one. Of course, Night City is practically not liveable anymore, but there are some areas where we are still fighting. The war is now with us, Zetatech, and Optix. Kiroshi wanted to pair with us, and we ended up helping one another out."
Jeremy: "As for Amy, she is being put through a trial Arasaka employees call 'Hell.' Endless torture and pain, when she nears death, the torture pauses and resumes when she is..well, you get the point. Her limbs and bones slowly being twisted and crushed..creepy shit like that."
