~A sound of a vehicle is heard approaching the roadway.~

Dem: She'd head to the bus stop.

~An inter-state bus would pull up to the bus stop, and some people would get off.~

Dem: She'd get on the bus and tell them to go to the nearest hospital.

AI Bus: "That is on the schedule. If that is your desired destination, please have a seat. We will be there shortly."

Dem: She'd take a seat and glance nervously around her.

~The bus would be practically empty, as there are 4 others scattered around the seating minding their own business. The bus would then accelerate down the roadway, and the advertisements on board would talk away faintly. Finally, after 10 minutes, the bus stopped in front of a small clinic. The doors would slide open.~

Dem: She'd get off and walk into the clinic.

Receptionist: "Hi, what can we do for you?"

Dem: "I-I'm here because some of my tech is broken."

Receptionist: "Uh huh..sign here." She'd hand Dem a tablet.

Dem: She'd take the tablet and sign her name then hand it back.

Receptionist: "So..you on your own?"

~The Receptionist would set the tablet down and work on their computer.~

Dem: "Uh yes I am."

Receptionist: "You can talk to me; I dunno why you're all nervous. I ain't gonna bite." She'd say in a low voice as she chewed gum.

Dem: "I-Im sorry; it's just that I've been through a lot."

Receptionist: "Ah, it's alright. It does feel nice to be approximately 1 mile away from Night City. Shit, there is just way too much for me. Rocky Ridge is definitely a better spot, in my opinion..less crowded, and no crazy corporate rules to boss you around."

Dem: "Yeah. Erm."

Receptionist: "Alright. A doc will see you shortly; before you go, though, gotta tell me what's up so I can shoot him a message through the holo. So he knows what he's up against."

Dem: "Some tech on my lower waist and upper right leg."

Receptionist: "Gotcha." She'd send the info to the doctor. "Alright, whenever he comes out that door," She points to her right. "That is when you go in there, got it?" She'd sit back down, use her device as a boredom breaker, and turn on the waiting room TV.

Dem: "Alright." She'd go sit down in the waiting room.

~Five minutes would pass before the doctor opens the door and calls Dem in.~

Dem: She'd get up and walk back with the doctor.

Doc: "Okay, so what's been troubling you? Besides what Lucy told me."

~The door would shut behind them.~

Dem: "Troubling me? W-what do you mean?"

Doc: "What happened that got the tech damaged? And lie down for me." He'd turn off the ceiling light and turn on the spotlight above the chair.

Dem: "U-uhh..." She'd lie down. "I'm not sure how the tech got damaged..."

Doc: "Really? Okay..." He'd examine the area. "You definitely damaged something, not visible outside, of course. I'll do my best to get it done. However, it may require me to cut into you and do some work. I will put you under anesthesia so you'll drift to sleep and wake up with fixed parts. How's that sound?"
