Lucy: "What is it now Lucas?"
Man: "The bitch escaped."
Lucy: "GODDAMMIT LUCAS! You had ONE job! What the hell even happened?"
Lucas: "The truck was hit, and someone came to rescue her."
Lucy: "Did you manage to figure out that person's name?"
Lucas: "The only person's name I got was Peter. Looks like he was hired to find missing people."
Lucy: "And where the hell is he now?"
Lucas: "They drove off."
Lucy: She'd sigh. "I'll sort this shit out just this once. But mark my words; if you fuck up one more time, you'll be staring down the barrel of my gun. Understood?"
Lucas: "Y-yes, ma'am." He'd turn the radio off.
Dem: "Well," She'd pull out the papers in her pocket. "Jeremy do you mind looking for an address on here?" She'd hand the bloody papers to him.
Jeremy: He'd look them over. "Back to the U.S. then. What exactly is this for?"
Dem: "My only chance of survival." She'd look over at him. "I'm kidding." Her smile would fade for a second before returning. "Just something I wanted to investigate."
Jeremy: "Ahh, got it."
~They'd arrive at the hospital. They would then walk to Shep's room.~
Dem: She'd walk over to Shep. "How you feeling?"
Shep: "Great! Way better than before."
Dem: "That's good."
Shep: "How are you and Jeremy holding up?"
Dem: "We're fine."
Shep: "That's good. Hey, your necklace is gone what's that about? I've never seen you without it before."
Dem: "Hey Jeremy can you step out for a second please?"
~Jeremy would nod and step out. The guard watching over Shep would close the door.~
Dem: "Alright. I wanted to say my final goodbyes." She'd laugh a little and stare out the window, refusing to make eye contact.
Shep: "Oh?"
Dem: "Yeah."
Shep: "That's okay," He'd sit up. "I never stopped you from going off on your adventures. You wouldn't have gotten as far as you did if I did. Found a good guy and traveled. Just wanted to say I'm proud of you, not letting anyone take control of your life. Just know I'm one holo away. Take care Dem and go get that necklace fixed okay?"
Dem: "No, that's not what I meant. I meant this is the end." She'd hold a piece of the necklace in her hand. "Its the end..."
Shep: "O-oh..."
Dem: "Thing is I'm not sure I'll be able to find Takumi. All of this may be for nothing. Just don't tell Jeremy I'm dying alright?"
Shep: "Yeah..." He'd look down. "Dem about Takumi..."
Dem: "Yes?"
Shep: He'd send her the location via chip. "This was his last known location, in Indiana. I'm not entirely sure he's still there though. He was on my contact list for many years. I hadn't noticed and it just got piled on by new contacts. Since that is the case, every contact I have has info on that person. Meaning this is the best lead I've got for you."
