P.O.V William

I couldn't think of any reason why Markus wanted to see me in his office. It's not like I spent the first few hours explaining why I brought her here. Letting out a deep breath I opened the door to his office. The furniture in his office was all wooden; there were two black leather couches and a desk in the middle of the room. There weren't many personal items around; there was a door off to the left which led to his bedroom. I found him standing outside on his balcony, which was the only light supply in the room. His back faced me, the glass doors were open. "Come here William." I'm surprised he still knew my first name. He chuckled "Of course I remember."

I forgot he could see into my mind. "So what is it that you need?

He turned around, setting his otherworldly eyes on me. It always made me uncomfortable when I had to look him in the eyes; they were more animalistic than human. Markus' was Cherokee Indian, you could tell the moment you looked at him. "I know I told you that Alaric wouldn't be staying in the house but it's out of my hands now."

"How?" I put my hands on the railing so I'd have something to keep my hands busy. "She's going to think I lied to her again."

Markus just watched me as I crushed his metal railing, looking down I could see Ally talking with Jennifer. "There's nothing I can do, he got permission from higher up." Why would he do that? "That's what worries me." Markus answered my thoughts. "You know her instincts are never wrong."

I nodded, "Yeah, that's why I asked you to tell him he couldn't stay here."

Markus stood next to me looking down at Ally. "I know, believe me Will I tried." I clenched my fist even more, "I can do my best to keep him busy and have an eye on him at all times."

Letting go of the railing I ran my fingers through my hair, "I don't understand why she doesn't trust him, Markus Alaric trained me. He helped me keep her safe more times than I can count."

He nodded, "I know." I brought my gaze back to Allyson; Adam was making his way toward her, great. "You know I could keep him busy too."

I laughed and kept my eyes trained on them, "No, I can't do that." He would know it was me.

Markus laughed, "Yeah I guess you can't hide anything from a Seer. Even if he's blind."

I rolled my eyes. "Markus what are we going to do when- I stopped when I saw Alaric coming inside the office.

"Sorry, Did I interrupt?" he said while walking to join us on the balcony.

I shook my head no then Markus spoke, "We were just discussing the things we needed to get done around here." Markus smiled, "Alaric you'll be such a great help, I know it'll take time. But you are the perfect man for the job."

Alaric Grimaced knowing that whatever Markus wanted he had no choice but to follow through. "Well thanks for the talk Markus; I'm going to go somewhere that's not here." I heard him chuckle as I left. Allyson is going to kill me.

Ugh, where is he? I paced my room waiting for Will to show up, He missed dinner and he never misses a chance to eat. I wonder what Markus had to talk to him about. What could be keeping him this long? Kevin squeaked at the door, picking him up, I said, "Kevin if I let you out Sammy is going to eat you, do you want to be dog food?" He squeaked again and jumped out of my hand and ran under the bed.

When Will finally walked in I was sprawled out on the couch watching reruns of Family Guy. I looked up to find him sweaty and bloody. "Oh My God Will what happened?" I jumped up fast and ran over to him. Dirt masked his face, arms and legs. It looked like he was in a fight. There was a huge gash on his arm; it was already healing leaving a pink scar. He looked down at it as I inspected his wound; there was so much blood you'd think he would have lost the arm.
