16. Past me.

P.O.V. Allyson

 I woke up sitting in the same clearing with William kneeling in front of me, his hands resting on my shoulders. My fingertips felt so numb and my body felt heavy like the venom was coursing through me, William looked so worried, I smiled and touched his cheek my fingers tingling at the touch.He pulled me in closer to his chest, over his shoulder I saw Adam and Riley watching me. Adam spoke but the world around me felt so quiet and peaceful, nothing could penetrate it. Until his voice did, "Ally?"

He pulled back looking down at me with so much concern I felt a laugh bubble up inside me, I held it back and smiled at him. My voice came out very quiet and slow. "William, I'm okay"

He ignored me and looked around until he locked gazes with Jen, "Do you know what happened?" she shook her head and looked down like she disappointed him somehow.

I don't know where my strength came from or what came over me but I gasped Williams neck and pulled him close to whisper in his ear, "What kind of name is Mauricio?" I let the laugh bubble out of me this time. William looked shocked.

"Great! she's lost her mind." Annalisa growled. I glared at her for a second and then brought my gaze back to William's face. He laughed with me. "Great, They both lost their minds," Annalisa added.

"What just happened?" Riley asked as he came over to help me stand. "You were there one second and then gone the next."

I didn't know what to say so I hugged him. I could still feel Nahla's energy within me. I kept my arms around him while I spoke, "I don't know if it was like something just clicked, and I started to remember a few things."

"Like from the past?" Adam asked as I let Riley go.

"Yeah I guess so, I'm just trying to make sense of it. I'm sorry everyone." I looked at everyone but William.

"Which memory was it?" Will's deep voice came from beside me.

I looked up at him, "I don't know, It was me and you, We were dancing and then we weren't. It's still a little fuzzy." I paused so I could look away from him. "And then I felt pain everywhere and I fainted."

"What triggered it?" asked Adam.

I folded my arms around my body and looked down and tried my best to lie in a way William wouldn't catch it. "I don't know."

"Alright well is everyone rested?" William looked around and made eye contact with everyone one by one, "We need to keep moving, we are no longer under the protection spell of the house." Everyone looked around and nodded along with William, we all trusted him.

P.O.V William

The question is where to go, Where do seven teens and dog go without raising suspicion. Adam answered my thoughts, "What about the Foedus?" I was about to say what we going to do at the Foedus when he continued, "Their Haniels guard why wouldn't they take us?"

"Because Dua they have rules about things like the vita and well me." I glanced at Ally to see if she noticed the word, still wasn't looking at me.

"They can't say no Will." I was about to argue even more but he cut me off by adding, "I have a way in, remember?"

Jen spoke up, "It's not like he's asking you to take us to the Inferis."

"This sounds like something you guys have already decided so I guess that's where we're going. I shook my head and walked on, it was going to take a few days just to get there from here. 7 kids and a dog with a huge target on their backs.

P.O.V Allyson

Grass, trees, and mud, Gosh I need to get out of this forest. I need a new scenery or a chance to figure out what happened to Nahla and how to get back to her. I could still sense her memories tugging at my self conscious. She had more to say and I was ready to listen. Annalisa walked ahead of me with Jenn and Riley, Adam and Sammy were next to me. WIlliam kept pace behind us holding on to Kyla. She still hasn't opened her eyes, I was really worried but Jenn kept saying she was fine.
