P.O.V. Allyson

I honestly don't know what to think or to do. Hell I don't even know who or what I am. I can't even bring myself to look at Will, I'm so tired of him lying to me. Not being able to go to our room I ended up pacing in the library right above Markus' office. Glancing out the window I could tell that mostly everyone was outside getting ready for another game of football. Sammy laid in a bean bag chair watching me pace around the shelves, her appearance made me wonder if maybe Adam was somewhere nearby.

' They all knew about me, they had to otherwise I wouldn't be as important as Will keeps making me out to be. Why won't anyone tell me what I am or what's going on with me? "That's because that's your keepers job." Markus' voice startled me, I thought I was alone. But there he was in the dark corner of the room sitting on the only real chair there was in this room.

"My what?" I asked automatically.

"Your keeper, He was born to protect you and watch over you." He watched me with steady eyes. "William was born to be your protector."

"But why would I need protection? What is so special about me?"

Markus chuckled, "There are so many things that are special about you Ms. Montgomery."

"Can you tell me?" Markus looked like he wanted to tell me but something was stopping him.

He shook his head, "That's something for you and William to discuss."

I was done with people dodging me every time I asked a question. I knew Markus wouldn't break and tell me so I decided to go straight to the only person who supposedly could. I found William in our room with his head in his hands. As soon as he saw me he rushed forward and pulled me into his arms. "Look I'm sorry Ally you deserve a better best friend. I should have told you about Anna but I was ashamed of my relationship with her." He pulled me back to lock his silver gaze with mine, "I will never hide anything from you again Allyson I promise."

"What am I?" William looked startled by my question, "I mean it Will what am I? And no bullshit answers this time I want to know."

"Okay." He shook his head, "But it's a really long story."

"Okay well you better start now." I sat down on the floor right where I was standing.

Will sat down on the floor too. "Alright, you Allyson are an old soul. A soul that others like me have waited for you to be reborn; only it wasn't only keepers who awaited your reappearance but demons and angels too. You're way more than an old soul you're the light between words, the key, the balance, life itself. Ally, you have lived many lives and so have I. Together we were reborn again and again with the same fate, me to protect you and keep your soul intact and away from the demons and any evil that wants to destroy it; and you to keep the world in balance with the good and evil of this world. You are born from a love that was forbidden, a love that was never meant to be. Your mother is one of the fallen and your father is one of the Arch."

"Will I don't know what that means, Fallen? As in a fallen angel?" he stared blankly at me, "This is a joke right?"

He sighed and trailed his fingers through his hair, "Can I finish?" I barely nodded before he continued "Your father's name is Haniel, He was one of the beloved among the angels his job was to encourage love and romance for the humans, but to never engage. And your dear sweet mother Solas well she was beloved by her master too. She was very good at bringing destruction down on humans, taking just enough for them too almost lose their way or she left them with nothing at all. They were a pair that should never have happened, Haniel who was never meant to stay on earth too long lest he get distracted was wandering around with his head in his hands. For the last month every couple he brought together was torn apart in the most devastating ways. He was losing his mind with each unexplainable thing that happened. So as Haniel walked around he found himself growing more and more frustrated he was never wrong about a couple before and never this consistently wrong. He needed guidance but refused to ask for it, he thought it was his doing that he was guiding them wrong the eras had changed maybe the people were seeing things differently. Maybe if he used a different approach it would work so he tried what was never to be done. He showed himself to the human he last failed and asked him why it didn't work why did he, Jon leave the beautiful Elaine he was so desperate to love.
