Sunny side

First date

As Pansy stormed into my room I just stared at her absolutely excited face.

„Oh my god what happened? Tell me everything!"

I just held showed her the text between Enzo and me.

„No way oh my god. Sunny! And then?"

„Well uhm. He apologised and told me how much he liked me and ehm then he kissed me"

My face was bright red.
Pansy squeaked happy and hugged me.

„Yes! Finally!"

„And then he said that we start new and asked me on a date. In one hour"

I still couldn't believe this.

„An hour?"

Pansy almost screamed.
I nodded and then realised that I had to get ready.
For a date.
With Enzo.
Pansy and I almost emptied my whole wardrobe.
She helped me pick an outfit.
A sweet light blue summer dress and a light cardigan. It was very warm outside so I wouldn't need a thicker jacket.

Pansy tied my hair up in a lose ponytail with a big bow in it.

„You look amazing. If he wasn't already head over heels for you he would be at least now"

She grinned.

„I'm fucking nervous. This is so weird."

I sighed

„Come on this will be great."

I couldn't even reply because it already knocked on my door.
I opened it and just saw a big buquet of flowers.
I blinked and laughed.
Enzo grinned at me from behind the flowers.

„Where did you get these so quick?"

I asked and took them.

„I already had them. Like the ones I layed in front of your door the whole week"

He was right.
Every day I had found another bouquet of flowers on my door.

„Yeah they were really pretty but I don't have much space left"

I laughed.
He looked around and smiled bright.

„You kept them."

„Of course I did. They are beautiful"

He hesitated and tilted his head.

„Where are the purple ones?"

„Oh I gave them to Pansy"

Pansy had already sneaked out.

„What why?"

He looked clearly offended.
I looked over and laughed.

„Enzo there was lavender in there. I'm allergic to that. I could have kept them but then I would have suffocated in my sleep"

His eyes widened.

„Oh no I didn't knew that I'm so sorry"

I hugged him and smiled.

„It's ok I never mentioned it"

He pulled out his phone and typed something.
I looked over to see.
I gasped as I saw that he had opened his notes app with a very long list about me.

„Enzo what is that?"

„Hm? Oh all the important things I shouldn't forget"

I looked up to him with big eyes.

„About me?"

„Of course about you. You are very important"

he smiled.
This took me off guard and I almost cried.

„Come on let's go"

He smiled and kissed my temple.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me after him.

„And where are we going?"

„I thought about the three broomsticks?"

He grinned.
This all felt so unreal.
We were holding hands the whole way.
We talked like always but be both knew it was some how different.
We reached the three broomsticks and found a booth in a corner.
He pulled me next to him on the bench and layed his arm around me.
I looked up to him with big eyes.

„This feels unreal"

I muttered.
He chucked and pressed me closer onto him.

„But it isn't and I'm very happy about that. Because this is all I ever wanted"

I blushed deeply.

„Enzo?"

„Yes love?"

„Why why you never say something?"

„Hm I talked a lot with pansy and she said that I shouldn't. And I know you. I knew how scared you were. I didn't wanted to ruin it."

„Thank you for waiting"

I whispered.

„I would have waited my whole life for you"

he smiled sweet.
He stroked through my hair and pulled my face towards his so our noses touched.

„And this is the best reward for waiting"

With that he gently kissed me.
I just melted into his arms.

Why had I ever doubted that?
Besides the kisses nothing changed.
We sat there like always and talked about everything and anyone.
Enzo was a real gossip king.

Every few words he kissed my face or my head.
I had to giggle every time.

After some time i excused myself to go to the toilet. This was really the best day of my life.

My mood dropped a bit as I came back.
In my place sat someone else.
I raised my eyebrows at the sight of Penelope.

I almost bursted out in laughter at Enzod terrified and helpless face.
I approached them, she didn't even noticed me until I stood right before her.

„Can I help you? I think you're in my seat"

I said cold and stared down at her.
She eyed me up and down and huffed.

„I don't think so. We're having a conversation here"

„No we don't"

Enzo added quickly.
He looked so guilty.
I could practically see the fear that I would be mad.
I smiled sweet and leaned down to her.

„Ok listen Penelope. If you ever come near my boyfriend or my friends again we're gonna have a problem. Do you understand?"

I kept smiling but my voice was low and threatening.
Her eyes widened.

„What do you mean boyfriend?"

I looked at Enzos clearly slightly relieved face.

„You're not that stupid. Are you?"

She got bright red and got up.
Immediately Enzo pulled me next to him and clenched onto me.
She looked clearly pissed and shoved off.

„That was kinda hot I'm not gonna lie"

Enzo said amused.

„She's crossing lines. It's annoying"

I huffed.
He kissed me deep.

„Then I'm happy to call you my girlfriend now"

It sounded almost like a question as if he wanted to make sure.

„Of course."

I smiled bright.
He sighed relieved and kissed me over and over again.
