Friends stick together

Enzo was so included into a conversation between him and Theo that he didn't noticed how Aelia was on her phone.

He noticed how she excused herself and went outside. He broke the conversation and looked after her.
Why would she go outside without her jacket?
Then he noticed that she had forgot her phone.

He picked it up just to give it to her later but noticed how it was unlocked and a chat was open.
He froze as he read the few massages.

He shot Pansy a panicked look and got up.
Without saying a word he hurried after Aelia.

Was she crazy?
To go there without saying something?

But then he thought that she might was used to being alone so she didn't wanted to bother them.
As he stepped outside he searched for her.

It was bloody cold and almost dark.
He saw two people standing on the side heavily arguing.
He noticed Aelias shiny hair and walked closer.
Quiet so they wouldn't see him on instant.
He didn't had do come very near to hear them.

„What the fuck Aelia! Tell them to stop! People are accusing me of cheating!"

„Well you did! You can't deny the truth!"

„Bullshit! Just because you were stupid enough to think anyone would ever love you! How pathetic!"

„Oh shut up! You're just bitter because I have friends now!"

„Friends? Yeah sure! They will throw you away like everyone else!"

„Fuck you!"

„Do I need to remind you to not talk to me like that?"

The guy stepped closer and Aelia stepped back clearly intimidated.

Enzo had heard enough.
He stepped forward and with that between her and the guy.

„Is there a problem?"

The guy looked up to him and narrowed his brows.

„I don't think this is your business Berkshire"

„Oh I think it is Ladwell. At least when you threaten one of my friends"

„We just talked"

„didn't looked like it!"

In this moment the others came storming outside.

„Got a problem bud?"

Mattheo yelled and was next to Enzo on instant.
The others practically build a barrier between the guy and Aelia so the girls could pull her aside.
Ladwell huffed and backed up.

„Have fun with the little whore"

Mattheo stepped forward and grabbed Ladwells collar.

„I would watch my mouth if I were you!"

„If you ever try to talk to her again or even look at her for to long you will regret it!"

Enzo yelled as Mattheo let go of ladwell and he stormed off.

He turned around.
Aelia was wrapped in Pansys arms.
She was slightly shaking and clearly crying.
Enzo felt sad and at the same time he wanted to go after Ladwell and just punch the living shit out of him.

He saw Blaise running out of the three broomsticks with Aelias things.
Blaise wrapped her jacked around her shoulder.

„Alright let's head back. It's getting late"

Mattheo said and walked up front.

Aelia and Pansy walked last and a bit away from the others.
Enzo was hesitant whether he should mention what he had read or just leave it.
But he thought now was not quite the right time.

It made him sad seeing her cry like that.
She had such a beautiful smile.

As they all came back everyone just went their way. The girls went towards the stairs up to the girls dorms and most of the guys went downstairs to the boys dorms.

As Enzo was halfway down he realised that he still had Aelias phone.
He excused himself from the others and started sprinting upstairs.
He didn't knew why he was running but it felt like he had to.

He reached upstairs and stopped.
Then he realised that he didn't knew where her room was.
He started walking to Pansys room to ask her.
He was about to knock as a couple rooms down a door opened and Aelia stepped out.
She looked up at him.

„Enzo? What are you doing here?"

„Ah great! I was searching for you!"

Enzo stepped back from Pansys door.

„Me? But that's Pansys room"

she said raising her eyebrows.

„Oh well I didn't knew wich room was yours so I wanted to ask her. But doesn't matter anymore I found you"

He smiled bright.
She slightly smiled back.

„Why where you searching for me?"

she asked closing her door.

„Oh yes ehm here. I forgot I had it. You left it at your seat in the three broomsticks and I picked it up and ehm. I'm really sorry that I read the messages"

He got out her phone and held it out to her.
He looked at the ground pretty embarrassed to admit that he had read the texts.

„Oh there it is. I was searching for it."

She took it and stepped closer.

„And it's ok. I'm glad you read it. Who knows what would have happened when you wouldn't have went after me"

she said quietly.
Enzo looked back up.
Her chubby cheeks were slightly red.

„oh it's not a big deal. Just next time tell us. We're friends and we want to help."

he could see the tears that were about so steam down her face.
Instinctively he pulled her closer into a tight hug.
He stayed silent for a while.

„Where were you heading anyways?"

He asked in a tone as if nothing happened.
She sniffled a bit but after a deep breath she answered.

„I'm actually pretty hungry. I wanted to go to the kitchen and see what I can get"

„Well now when you say it I'm starving. Mind if I join you?"

Enzo smiled bright.

„Sounds pretty good to Me"

she smiled up to him.
This warmed his heart to the core.
