Sunny side

Mistake

Pansy looked at her phone.
Sunny had told her that she and Tom were on their way.
Pansy was so eager to hear everything they had talked about.

Tom was still a mystery to her.
She didn't knew how these two could be so close.

Enzo had whined the whole evening.
He hadn't talked to Matty or Sunny.
But had cried to Pansy how he thought they had something going.
Pansy had told him like a million times this evening that this wasn't true.
But Enzo drained himself in drinks and got more pissed and angry the drunker he got.

At some point Pansy just tried to avoide him.

As Sunny and Tom entered the ravenclaw common room Pansy waved them.
Tom gave Sunny a deep hug and excused himself to his friends nearby.
Sunny stormed to Pansy and hugged her.

„Took you long enough."

„Sorry. Tom also complained we were too late but I can't help these short legs"

She laughed.
She had seemed to have a great time.

„Pansy have you seen Enzo? I wanted to talk to him."

„To be honest that's a bad idea right now"

She looked at her confused.

„He's already drunk and pretty pissed today"

„Oh no. Don't tell me he still thinks that there is something between me and Matty"

„Yes that's it"

Before they could talk more Enzo bursted between them.
He looked wasted and really not good.

„Enzo. Oh god how much did you drink?"

„Not enough to forget what I saw"

he slurred.

„What?"

„You with Tom. So both brothers huh?"

„Enzo what are you talking about? He only gratuladed me on my exams. You know there isn't anything. The same with Matty!"

„Oh yeah. I saw your little touchy touchy thing yesterday. Don't fool me"

He had a hard time standing straight.
But Sunny began to get really pissed.
Pansy knew this was not good.

„Are you mad Lorenzo? You're basically calling me a slut. Get yourself together!"

She had used his full name.
This was serious.
She was really mad.

„Oh well maybe you are a slut!"

Enzo bursted out.
Pansy could see the pain and anger in Sunnys eyes.

„Enzo that's enough"

Pansy pushed him back a little.
He huffed and turned to go.

„Whatever."

Pansy turned around so Sunny.
She was on the edge to cry.

„Come on he's drunk. He doesn't mean it like that"

Matty appeared next to them.

„What the hell was this?"

Sunny sniffled a bit and huffed.

„Mr Berkshire things I'm fucking around with you AND your brother"

Matty looked highly confused.

„What? Is he confused? I mean I like you sweetie but everyone knows that you're practically his girl"

He tried to sound comforting but even he couldn't hide his anger about this.

„Come on let's all calm down. Let him sober up a bit and then you can talk"

Pansy said trying to smile.
As she looked at Sunny she felt concerned.
Sunnys eyes were fixed on something behind Pansy. Her deep blue eyes glassy and full of pain.

„Nevermind. I think he is enjoying himself"

she said with a broken voice.
Pansy turned around and gasped.
Enzo was sitting on one of the couches with a girl in his lap, heavily making out with her.
And for Pansys suprise it was Penelope.

As Pansy turned back around she only saw Sunnys golden hair slip out the door.
She looked over to Matty.
Pure rage in his face.
Before Pansy could act Matty stormed over to Enzo.

But to the surprise of both of them someone reached Enzo before Matty.
It was Tom.
He practically ripped Enzo away from Penelope. Penelope fell on the ground and loudly protested.

„Are you insane? What are you thinking?"

Tom was almost shouting.
Enzo didn't even knew what was happening.
Matty stepped next to Tom and just hit Enzo straight in the face.
The room was silent.
Tom grabbed both of them and dragged them away. Completely ignoring the whining and complaining Penelope.

In front of the common room he released the two out of his grip.

„What the fuck Enzo?"

Matty started to shout.

„What do you want? I can to what I want!"

Enzo  couldn't even stand.
He leaned on a wall.

„You're the biggest idiot ever Berkshire"

Pansy spat.

„What she can screw whoever she wants and I can't?"

„She screws no one Lorenzo! Not me and not Matty!"

Toms voice was low and threatening.
He was really pissed.

„Fuck this I'm going to find her."

Pansy said and after Tom's and Mattys aproving nodds she left.

She had two options.
The astronomy tower or her dorm.

Pansy decided to first look at the astronomy tower. The night was clear so she would be there.

And Pansy was right.
She found a devastated and crying Sunny.

„Oh no. Sunny come on. He is drunk. He doesn't know what he is doing"

„Well yes he is. And when he doesn't care about me when he's drunk I doubt that he does when he's sober. Like what the fuck!? How could he?"

She sobbed and buried her face into her hands.

„Let him sober out. Matty and Tom are talking to him. Actually Matty just punched him"

„Well he deserved it"

Pansy pulled Sunny into a deep hug.
She tried her best to comfort her.
But nothing seemed to work.

And it got even worse.
The next day she refused to talk to him.
She didn't even wanted to leave her room.

Pansy came out of her room to find Enzo rapidly knocking on Sunnys door.

„Please. Shortcake talkt to me. I'm sorry."

Suddenly the door opened and Sunnys angry face appeared.

„Shove off Berkshire! I don't wanna see you! I don't wanna talk to you!"

With that she slammed the door shut.
Enzo looked shocked over to Pansy.

„Well I can't say I wouldn't understand her. Give her time. You really hurt her you know that"

„I know. Fuck yes I know. It was a mistake. I don't know what I was thinking"

„Calm down Enzo. I'm sure you two can solve this"

But based on Sunnys look and her behaviour she wasn't too sure about that.
