Tam
Tam gaped in astonishment at the contents of Keefe's locker. Filling an entire compartment were varying colored bottles labelled with the Slurps and Burps logo, packed tightly. His eyes widened even more when he read some of the labels plastered against the glassy surfaces of the vials. "Keefe. I feel like its my duty as your boyfriend to tell you that this is not a good idea.""Nonsense, Tammy," Keefe shrugged him off, instead piling a selection of the bottles into his arms. "Now, what shall we do? Make it so that when you eat the butterblasts your hair turns blue?? Or maybe when you drink the lushberry juice your skin turns green?? Ooooooh, Biana will love that one..."
Keefe trailed off and Tam wondered how in the world he ended up falling in love with this stupid blonde idiot, who someday was definitely going to get them both sent to back to Exile. Tam sighed. "Biana is going to murder you if you make her look like an ogre. Go with the blue hair instead—and please let it wear off before prom on Friday? Otherwise you'll have some angry blue-haired prodigies to deal with."
"I could take on a dozen angry prodigies with blue hair, but because Im the best person ever, I'll do as you ask. You know, because I love my boyfriend." Keefe winked at Tam, slamming the locker shut with a clang! by using his shoulder.
Tam scowled at the glossy marble floor beneath him, however still following Keefe as they strolled through the deserted Foxfire hallways to the cafeteria. Something was nagging at the back of Tam's mind, a question he shouldn't really have been nervous to ask. "Keefe... how are we going to do it?"
The blonde boy glanced at him and smirked. "The blue hair? Well, you see, Tammy—"
"No," Tam interrupted, not harshly, but hesitantly. Of course Keefe would need him to elaborate about what he was actually asking about. Tam's gaze remained fixated on his walking feet. "How are we going to tell the others about... you know..."
"That your completely and irresistibly in love with me and that we are attending the prom as boyfriends because we are oh so incredibly in love?" Keefe used the tone of voice in which he usually used when he was being sarcastic, but only slightly.
Still, Tam had to refrain from flushing at the remark. "Yes."
"Hmmmmm," Keefe pursed his lips, and Tam had no doubt that he would have placed his hands on his hips profoundly if it weren't for the bottles and vials crowded in his hands. "Not at school. Maybe we could invite everyone over somewhere? Like Everglen, or Havenfield, or—"
"We can come to mine, if that would be the most convenient," Tam offered, his fingers fiddling around with the hem of his shirt—somewhat anxiously. "Hey, everyone could sleep over for the night as well. I'm anticipating that everyone would want to gossip about prom."
Keefe looked slightly taken aback by the suggestion, dropping a bottle but swiftly retrieving it off the marbled flooring. "Are you sure? We could always just hail everyone about it, you don't have to—"
"No, it's okay. Everyone will enjoy it. Fuck it, I might, as well," Tam insisted. In full truth, the elixirs Elwin gave him must have been working wonders. He felt incredibly... well, normal. And normal was undeniably amazing, considering his previous comatose state.
Tam's stupidly attractive boyfriend grinned, nodding in approval at his insistence. "Well well, would you look at that. My beloved Tammy is slowly opening up to the world!" Keefe gave Tam a playfully affectionate punch into his upper arm.
Tam scowled through the silver bangs that sharply framed the features of his face. "Opening up to you? Yes. To our friends? A bit. A smidge. A fraction. To the world? Definitely and absolutely NO—"
Abruptly, Keefe pushed both Tam and him into a wedge between two lockers. The blonde boy's hand was pressed firmly against Tam's lips, and every inch of their bodies from their abdomens to their thighs were pinned against each other. Plastic and glass jabbed into Tam's ribs as the bottles Keefe had been holding were stably tucked into the space between the two boys' chests.
Tam's heart fluttered with the harsh movement, and he desperately attempted to ignore his blood rushing southward. When Keefe and him were crammed this close together, it would soon however be impossible for Keefe not to notice. Shoving the thought away—and also the other ones that were intruding into his brain about other things—Tam focused on his surroundings instead. He still hadn't figured out why he had been pinned against a wall.
Keefe's icy blue eyes stared almost warningly into his, graced with a glare of light from the crystal chandeliers hanging elegantly from the hallway ceiling. Listening, Tam eventually noticed the gradually enhancing echo of footsteps navigating towards them from an intersecting hallway. Considering the weight and pace of them, they were much too heavy and leisurely to be Elwin's. Tam would now, over the past few days he had spent hours on end listening to almost nothing but the clinking of vials, scrawling of ink on paper and Elwin's footfalls.
His eyes widened in a somewhat panicked manner—because of the footsteps, of course. Definitely not because his body was in an inconvenient state right now. Keefe smirked, the warning demeanour in his eyes quickly replaced with mischief and a linger of lust.
Shit. He noticed.
Tam narrowed his eyes and tried a sound of protest to tell his boyfriend, no Keefe, this predicament in the Foxfire hallway is definitely not an appropriate time to fulfil your kinky desires and experiments, but unfortunately Keefe's hand muffled any sound that would come out.
Like Keefe would listen to him anyway.
