Keefe
"HA!! Called it!" Keefe whipped his head around to see Wylie sauntering into the lounge room, a glass of lushberry juice in hand. "Soph, you owe me a five butterblasts from the cafeteria."

"Shit," Sophie sighed, crossing her arms over her chest as Wylie slumped down next to her. "Can we do three?"

Keefe's mind was still trying to register whatever the fuck just happened. He looked from Tam—who was even more bewildered than he himself was—to Sophie, to Wylie. He laughed out of what he thought was sheer insanity. "Hold on—mind filling us in on what the fuck is going on??"

"I already suspected you two were dating. But Sophie didn't think so, so we placed bets," Wylie explained casually, taking a long sip from his drink as if it's complete custom to make wagers on whether people are together or not.

"And... what about the rest of you...?" Tam muttered suspiciously, narrowing his eyes as he gazed over the rest of the group. To be honest, Keefe hadn't been expecting anyone to burst out in homophobic rage—but he certainly hadn't been expecting this.

"Linh told me ages ago," Biana cut in, not even glancing up as she picked at something that was lodged in her periwinkle glazed nails. "Who do you think helped plan to lock you two in that pantry?? Me~ Obviously. Also, staying constantly by Tam's side when he was unconscious while sobbing was, like, a dead give away."

Well, that was fair. Keefe chuckled to himself as he watched Tam's eyes grow wide, his expression a portrait of shock and betrayal. "LINH. What the fuck?!?"

"HEY. I'm your beloved twin sister who got you two together—don't get mad at me..." Linh replied with an offended pout, before glimpsing at Marella and the rest of the group. "Oh yeah, Mare and I already knew, by the way."

Smirking to himself, Keefe ran a hand through his golden hair. Everything seemed, in a way... calmly chaotic. Marella, Linh, Biana, and Wylie already knew, or at least figured out that Tam and him were a thing. And Sophie only just found out, but she didn't seem very surprised at all. Which meant that that left...

Oh no.

The blonde boy caught his boyfriend's tense gaze next to him—Tam had seemingly figured it out as well. Reluctantly, Keefe pivoted his attention around to Fitz and Dex, who were both looking at each other as if Forkle had just rocked up in a size four purple polkadot bikini.

Absolutely traumatised.

(Haha bet you imagined that and now you can't get the image out of your head >:D )

"UHHHHH—" Fitz started, mouth gaped open lower than Keefe's midterm grades.

Keefe could feel his own face heating up from slight embarrassment. He leapt up from the lounge chair, grinning as he hastily projected his voice over Fitz's. "FITZY AND TYRANNOSAURUS DEX!! So glad you two are supportive!! How about we move on from this, and start playing some fun, teenagery, sleepovery games and never talk about this again!! Who's with me?!?"

Much to both Keefe and Tam's fortune, Marella seemed to catch on to the entire predicament and cut in. She twined one of her intricate braids lazily in loops around her fingers. "Oh, totally... Soph, got any fun-teenagery-sleepovery human games we haven't played before??"

"I don't know... spin the bottle?" Sophie suggested dryly, instantly earning a chorus of groans and rejections from the remainder of the group. Keefe slid back down into his spot on the lounge chair, breathing a small sigh of relief that they had moved on from the topic. For once, Keefe actually enjoyed the attention not being on him.

As the others continued discussing and arguing about what they should play, Keefe turned to the dark haired boy sitting beside him. Tam had both his legs on the chair, almost curled up on the couch as he stared at the floor; likely trapped in thought. Keefe shifted further over to Tam, tossing an arm around his boyfriend and leaning in to talk privately. "Hey. Everything's okay. I told you you had nothing to worry about..."

All Keefe received in response was Tam's shy look up at him. The blonde boy didn't know why, as he was generally always hard to fluster and possessed quite a confident demeanour. But there was something about the way Tam looked up at him so listlessly, that made him snicker, huffing nervously as he looked away.

The two were both brought back to reality, however, when Dex's voice sounded fiercely over all of the little sub-arguments currently circulating around the room. "CAN'T we just play SOMETHING that DOESN'T involve HAVING to kiss someone RANDOM? Maybe SOMETHING with a little more OPTION??"

"Hmmmm..." Sophie hummed. She was now laying completely down on the carpet floor of the lounge room, rubbing her eyes groggily. "Seven Minutes in Heaven?"

The group became quiet, suddenly intrigued with the proposal. Biana purred mischievously. "How do you play?"

"Two people are chosen at random to go alone into a small, dark space like a closet or something. They have seven minutes to do whatever they would like, and then they have to come out. They could do nothing, talk, make out... umm... other things..." Sophie sputtered, trailing off nervously as she continued her sentence.

Keefe smirked, glancing at Tam. He liked the sound of this game. Loved it, even. Thankfully, everyone else seemed to like the sound of it, as well.

"That sounds good," Linh approved, moving her legs up onto the chair she was sitting on to sit cross legged. She smiled with what Keefe assumed to be anticipation. "Does anyone have a bottle we can spin to pick the people, orrrrr...?"

Wylie drained the remainder of lushberry juice from his glass down his throat. "Will my glass work?"

Linh nodded thankfully, taking the glass and laying it down on the floor. Keefe could feel the anticipation growing in his own stomach as he watched as the glass spun, before slowly meandered to a stop... pointing to Biana.

The brunette squealed and clapped in delight excitedly, eyes on Linh, waiting for her to twist the glass again to determine the pairing person. The glass whirled again, the hollow of it emitting a wind driven sound that only seemed to add to the tension in the atmosphere. After years of waiting, it finally hindered to a stop again, facing directly towards Wylie.
