Alr guys quick side note i read this back like a week later and i realised that at one point this just slips into Linh's pov😭😭 and I'm a lazy bastard who isn't gonna fix it so have fun with that
Marella pursed her lips and looked innocently down at her girlfriend. "Uh oh. Well shit... Is it just me, or did Tiergan just walk in on us when we were-""Yes," Linh sighed and rubbed her eyes. A million questions and worries and feelings were running through her mind. Would Tiergan be accepting? Would he punish her? Would he stop her from seeing Marella? How much did he... see? Oh mallowmelt. Linh leaned in to quickly kiss Marella. "I love you."
"I love you, too. But does this mean we're continuing, orrrrrrr..." Marella trailed off with a smirk, shamelessly gazing at her Linh's body.
"No. We have to go out and talk to Tiergan," Despite the smile that was creeping across Linh's lips, she rolled her eyes. The dark haired girl scrambled out from under Marella and returned her clothing to the correct place on her body. Marella groaned before doing the same. Together, they darted out of the room to go find Tiergan, who tragically must have been traumatised from walking in on the incident.
They found him precisely where Keefe had been, but this time his arms were crossed and his eyebrows were furrowed. But not like furrowed in a rawr grrr im mad kinda way, but more like a what the fuck just happened and how long has it been happening kinda way.
Linh fiddled with her hands nervously. "Tiergan—"
"Linh. Im okay with you being this way. I accept you, and honestly I couldn't care less. But I would have preferred if you would've told me earlier, so I wouldn't have had to find out like... this," Tiergan's uneasy blue eyes flicked between the both of them before he continued. Linh noticed that a hint of embarrassment was showing on his tan skin. "Also, how long has this been going on? Does Tam know??"
"Well... umm... we've been dating for a few months now. And yes, Tam does know..." Linh trailed off, deciding that it was best that Tam came out to Tiergan on his own terms. Only if he died would Linh expose her brother to Tiergan—but dying was not an option for Tam, so telling Tiergan herself was not an option for Linh.
The blonde elf nodded solemnly, turning away from the conversation. "Well, uhh, feel free to go back upstairs... I suppose. Honestly, I'm really not trying to make this... awkward," Tiergan ran a hand through his long blonde hair and sighed. "Maybe I should just lea-"
"LINH! TIERGAN!! MARELLA!!! WHOEVER THE FUCK ELSE IS IN THERE!!!!" The three elves crowded at the bottom of the stairwell all heard a ridiculously loud bang! following an OW! before Keefe appeared at the door. For the first time in five days it looked like Keefe had a little bit of light inside him. A lot, actually. "WE HAVE TO—Tiergan, don't look at me like that, I'm sorry for swearing. BUT WE HAVE TO GO TO THE HEALING CENTRE!"
Linh glanced at Marella, noticing the same confused expression painting her face, as well. Tiergan had crossed his arms over his chest as a sign of concern, but also most likely disapproval in Keefe's language choice. "Why? Did something happen with Tam? Did he..."
Linh stopped herself from continuing, tears filling her eyes. She desperately tried to blink them away.
Keefe shook his head and grinned, eyes lit up like lightbulbs. "No!! Quite the opposite, actually. APPARENTLY HE WOKE UP! SO LET'S FUCKING GO ALREADY!!"
Keefe
The moment the four elves entered Foxfire, Keefe was like a track star. He's a runner, he's a track starrrr—
He raced through the halls, weaving through lockers and launching himself down and up stairwells; and smiling the entire time. Keefe didn't expect for anyone to be catching up to him, leaving him surprised when he turned around to see Linh and Marella—hand in hand—running for the healing centre as well. They weren't as fast or as far ahead as him, of course.Keefe slammed himself through the glass healing centre doors as he finally arrived. Some small and horrible part of him—probably a part that came from Lord Cassius, not gonna lie—was telling him that it was all too good to be true, and that he was going to get his hopes and little gay heart absolutely stomped on. But that horrible part of him disappeared as he saw a pale elf with gorgeous silver eyes and debatable bangs propped up against a pillow on a healing centre bed; awake. Keefe felt overwhelmed with relief and happiness. Oh, so much happiness.
"Tam!" Keefe yelled as he rushed over to the bed, immediately engulfing his boyfriend in a tight hug.
"Ahhhck, Keefe," Tam said in a breathless and raspy tone. "Try not to squeeze the life out of me, or you'll have to make do with having a relationship with a corpse."
"KEEFE!" Elwin yelled, quite a serious expression plastered on his face. He held an vial of something in one hand, and his clipboard in the other. He hit Keefe with the clipboard over the head. "Keefe, will you try not to put him back into a coma?! For mallowmelt's sake, be GENTLE!"
Keefe looked at Tam, and the two of them smiled at each other. Tam's eyes were groggy, but still so undeniably beautiful. Keefe kissed him—short and sweet, afraid of what would happen if Tiergan saw them making out. "I really missed you."
"I know," Tam responded sadly. At that moment, Linh, Marella, and Tiergan all burst through the door. Keefe could feel the happy tears welling in his eyes, but he wasn't going to let them spill. Not with all these people watching. Later, when Tam and him could finally be alone.
"TAM!" Linh screamed with content. Keefe had to dodge out of the way to avoid being hit as she ran past, engulfing Tam in an even tighter hug than he did himself.
Elwin hit the bed with the clipboard. "Hey, now, BE GENTLE! Do you want him to continue being alive or not?! Cause it looks like your trying to squeeze the AIR OUT OF HIS LUNGS!"
