Back at home, everything was normal. Rachel's parents were rushing to get to work and only said goodbye quickly. They worked even on weekends.
Caleb was still busy playing games 24/7. At breakfast, he wouldn't leave his phone alone. He almost spilt his coffee because he was so focused on his phone.
"Caleb! Put your phone down. You're going to spill your coffee over everything." Rachel said to him, but he didn't listen.
He only picked his head up and looked at her after the second time that she complained.
"Fine, mum number two. It's no need to be so grumpy." Caleb rolled his eyes at her. He didn't put his phone down. She tried her best to keep her cool. Luckily, she was so tired after the week she had that she just ignored him.
"There are so many new games on the app store. I must download them before I go to school to show them to my friends."
Caleb saying there were so many new games made Rachel a little more interested in what was happening.
"What new games?"
"They're mostly about robots mixed with some fantasy thing."
Rachel didn't say anything. This couldn't be a coincidence. When Rachel got to the office, everyone was already sitting at the table, trying to figure out a plan.
"Rachel, we should've told you we would be starting earlier today. I'm so sorry for not letting you know." Hootwiggle greeted her and pulled out a chair next to her.
The others said hello to her as well.
"It's totally fine, I have to tell you guys something that I think has to do with all of this, but I'm not sure," Rachel said as she sat at the table. "This morning, Caleb said something about many new games that have just been released. He said it has something to do with robots and a little fantasy. Doesn't that sound familiar?"
"It does," Finnigan answered.
"I wasn't sure if I was just being paranoid or if it might have been a coincidence." "It's definitely not a coincidence. Luckily, we have figured out a plan." Hootwiggle said. "Mira, would you mind explaining it to Rachel?"
"Not at all. So, we know where this robot is and that it's not as simple as just pushing the power off button. Paws went to fetch a special flower that, when inhaled, causes you to completely pass out for at least an hour. It wouldn't work on a robot, but I'm sure it will work since this isn't a robot. We'll go the same way as we did the last time: Finnigan, Paws, Glimmerwisp one, and we'll need your help on this mission." Rachel was excited to hear she could go along on this mission. "We'll sneak in and try to hold it down, then push the flower against his face, and he'll pass out. We looked at a blueprint of the factory, and that room was right against the wall. We'll be unable to leave the factory without being seen, so we'll have to break through the wall to get out. Hootwiggle will come get us. We'll come back and see what we can figure out about this bot."
"What type of flower is that?" Rachel asked. "It's called a Somniflora Dreamblossom. It grows in Enchantwood forest. It's a bluish-purple colour and glows in the dark. It's a beautiful flower." Finnigan said.
"When are we going on this mission?"
All the guardians looked at each other. "Not tonight. Probably in a night or two. We just have to finalise and think all of this through completely. If this goes wrong...I don't even want to think about it." Hootwiggle explained. "I want to ask you and Mira to do me a big favour. I want you to go to the Oracle repository and find out anything you can about all of this. I'm sure that there must be something. Even if it's just about how the world of technology works. How the factory works, how the bot might have gotten into the systems and hacked the rest of the bots."
Mira nodded. Rachel had no idea what the Oracle repository was. This was the first time she had heard about this place. The world of imagination had so many secrets and new things.
Mira got up; Rachel did the same. She waved to Rachel to follow her downstairs. When they got outside, Mira got another plastic bubble. They both got in, and it started to go higher and higher. They went in almost the same direction as where the Youthful Archives are.
"Where are we going? And what is this place where we're going?" Rachel asked.
"The Oracle repository is another library. It holds the answers to any question that you can ever have. It's just a little further away than the Youthful Archives."
They travelled a while over the ocean, then went lower and lower until they went underwater. Rachel looked back and could see the Youthful Archives behind them. They went deeper and deeper. Rachel could start to see the lights of the Oracle repository; it was much deeper than the Youthful Archives. The two libraries looked precisely the same.
A big door opened again; the water stayed outside even though the door was wide open. The library was huge on the inside. The bookshelves were filled with books from top to bottom.
"This is just as cool as the first library you took me to." Rachel walked around in amazement. Even though she had seen this before, she was just as excited and blown away as the first time. "So, what exactly are we looking for?"
"I'm not really sure. We must look for anything about robots and the world of technology."
Mira walked to the back of the library. She looked for the section starting with W. She got onto her knees and began searching for the book.
"Ah! Here it is." She got up with a really thick book in her hand. "This book contains all you need to know about the world of technology. Now, I only need to find one more." She walked over to the section starting with R. She found this book much more quickly than the others. "This is the book about the robot factory in Techtopia."
They went and sat down on one of the couches. Mira handed Rachel the book.
"Let's get to reading.""I think I got something," Rachel said. "All the codes for the robots are in the main office, they're locked away, and you would need a password to hack into it. There are only two main robots that know this code, but the thing is, they don't know a thing about coding. So, they couldn't have rewritten the code. It must have been someone else that got the password somehow, and that knew how to code."
"I also found something. They had to change the code for all the bots in the factory; otherwise, their plan wouldn't have worked. The so-called bot sending everything to the real world is the one who has hacked into everything. This has to be a mastermind who knows the world of technology and how everything works inside and out.
"Who or what would've been able to do all of this?"
Mira thought about it for a moment. She had no idea who would be able to do something like this. "I have no idea. It has to be a guardian. We are the only ones that can go to the world of imagination." They both were too stunned to speak. This meant that it had to be someone from the inside, but they couldn't think of anyone who would be able to do all of this. It had to be a massive mission with a lot of planning to do all of this.
They continued reading books, searching for the answers to this mystery.
