Rachel didn't think this awful plan through at all. She just went through the portal, only thinking about the possibility that she might walk into lots of bots when she was halfway through it. Luckily, that was not the case.
The portal led to a small white room. There was nothing in it except for a charging pod that looked like it had never been used. There were no windows, and the room was freezing. The portal wasn't hidden behind anything like the others. It was on the wall. There was a door, but Rachel was afraid to open it if she didn't know where it was leading.
She opened the door slowly, trying to peek out of it. She instantly knew where she was. She was in one of the robot's houses. She recognised the street she was in, probably because there was only one street in Techtopia.
She poked her head out the door to see what was happening outside. There weren't any robots in sight, and the person she saw going through the portal was nowhere to be seen. She looked back at the portal. She knew she could still turn around and not put her life in danger again, but that wasn't who she was. She couldn't just leave and sit around waiting for someone to come and save the day. She had to do something about it.

Rachel soon found herself running from alley to alley, trying not to be seen by any robots. Luckily, there weren't many robots in the street.
Her chest was burning, she didn't realise how unfit she had gotten, but there was no stopping now. She didn't have any idea where this mystery person could have disappeared to and where she had to go, but she had an idea that she needed to go to the factory.
She could see the giant factory. It was just a few hundred metres away.  She hid behind the big sign in front of the factory to try and catch her breath. Her heart sank when she saw the guard in front of the building. She completely forgot about this. Last time, Mira was here to help get them in, but she was alone now. She turned her back to the sign, took a deep breath, and told herself: "You got this." She picked up a small pebble that was lying on the sidewalk. She couldn't think of a better plan, and this plan had to work for her to get in. She aimed the pebble at the building, about ten metres away from the entrance, and then threw it as hard as she could. The glass shattered, and the alarms went off. The robot guarding the door rushed to go check what it was, and he was followed by another squad of robots that came from inside the building. Once all of them were looking at what happened, and no one was guarding the door, Rachel knew it was her chance. She ran as fast as she could to the door. She opened the door a bit to see what was happening inside. Once the coast was clear, she slipped in.
Rachel hid behind anything that she could inside. Luckily, most of the robots were distracted, and they didn't notice her sneaking in. She waited behind a flowerpot with a fake bush until all the robots had passed it. Her heart was racing, and her stomach was filled with butterflies. She didn't really know where she was going. It was as if her gut feeling just took over, and she followed it. She realised it might be better this way because no person in their right mind would do this.
She made it to the first door she had to go through to get to the first part of the factory. She just forgot one thing; the door works with facial recognition. She returned to the flowerpot again, trying to figure out a plan. She touched her pocket and felt that she had her phone. Suddenly, an idea popped up, but she had no idea if this plan would work.
Rachel took her phone out and tried to get as close as possible to the robot. She zoomed in as close as possible to get a picture of the robot's face, but her phone couldn't zoom in as far. She leaned forward from behind the coffee table and stuck her arm out. She tried to take as many photos as possible, then rushed back to her hiding spot behind the flowerpot. She was just in time; many robots just passed the reception desk. She held her chest and took a deep breath. This mission wasn't going to get any easier.  She made her way to the door, got the photo out, and held her phone in front of the camera. She kept looking around her to ensure that no robots would see her. The light flashed red. She searched for another photo and held it up again, another red light. She knew an alarm might go off if she got another red light. She selected a different photo and then held it up to the camera. She was trying not to shake, but it's hard when you're trying to prevent yourself from getting caught by robots. Finally, a green light flashed. As soon as the door opened, Rachel ran in.
She hid against the wall in the tunnel, trying to get her breath back and lower her heart rate.
Getting through the part of the factory where all of the devices get made wasn't too hard. It was the easiest part. Rachel looked down from the platform to see what the robots were doing. She tried to see if she could see anything strange, but everything looked normal. She didn't waste any time and started to make her way to the second stage in the factory.
She just had to run across the platform and ensure that none of the robots could see her. When she got to the second door, she held the photo of the bot up again. The green light flashed this time, and she made it to the second stage. This stage was more complicated to get through. A few robots were walking on the platform. Most of them had a box or two in their hands. Rachel looked around, there were many boxes which she could hide behind. An idea popped into her head when she saw a pile of huge boxes. As soon as none of the robots were looking, she ran as fast as she could to it. She opened the box containing the same devices she found hidden in the bush. She emptied everything out and then placed the box over her. It was big enough so that she could almost stand straight up, and it would still cover most of her body. She used her fingers to make two holes that she could look out of. She waited until the robot had passed her, then made her way to the next pile of boxes. She kept moving to the next pile, then stopped to see that there were no robots nearby. She made it to the next door. She left the box and ran to the door. She held her phone up, and again, the light flashed green. She sighed in relief as she made it to the last part.
Now she could see what was happening in the last stage, where everything gets sent out. She started making her way through the door when she felt a sharp stinging pain on her back, and everything turned black, just like the first time.
