"Hey chief" Ben walked into her office
"Ben, my son was just grilling me about you" She walked over to him
"He was just grilling me as well but Joey stopped him" He chuckled wrapping his arms around her
"He is protective" Miranda laughed
"I see that, but I'm a good guy" Ben stared in Miranda's eyes. He leaned down to kiss her
"Woah, you see all these windows" She backed up pointing around
"Right sorry chief, can't have your surgeons and nurses seeing you making out in your office" He chuckled "I could close the blinds"
"Benjamin Warren" She laughed
"On call room" He raised an eyebrow
"I'm the chief" She straightened her lab coat
"Chief too good for an on call room" He sat on her couch
"I am in fact too good for those bunk beds" She shook her head
"My hotel isn't too far from here. Want lunch" He smirked
"What are you proposing"
"I think you know" He laughed standing up and stood at her door "Coming"
She bit her lip and walked out with him. While they were enjoying their "lunch break". The boys were still getting to know each other in an empty conference room
"Hey Jamin have you seen your dad" Jackson walked in the room
"Nope I've been with Tuck and Joey all day" He shrugged
"He just left my lab but I need to talk to him so If you see him. Tell him I really need an answer about what I asked him. He'll know" Jackson walked away
"Wonder what that's about" Joey looked at Jamin
"Dr.Avery offered my dad a partnership with him on spray on skin and he could help him with growing organs. But the partnership would happen here in Seattle"
"I'm assuming he doesn't know you know" Tuck looked at him
"I listened to their conversation" He shrugged
"You think your dad is going to take it" Joey asked
"At first he wasn't but now that he is back with Chief B he might, but if so I want to come with him"
"What about your mom" Tuck asked
"She doesn't get me the way dad does. I would rather live with him but it's just worked out that I stayed with my mom" He shrugged
"Tuck's a mommy's boy. He is nervous about sharing his mom" Joey whispered
"Oh shut up" Tuck pushed him
"What. Doc is an awesome mom. Jamin already loves her" He laughed
"She is great" He nodded
"You know this is a hospital and children usually go to the daycare. You boys are always just wandering around" Richard walked in
"Well we got tired of video games so we came in here" Joey laughed
"Where are your parents" He asked
"Dad is M.I.A" Jamin shrugged
"Mom is not in her office and not in surgery" Tuck shrugged
"Sir Doc is a respectable woman but fill in the blanks" Joey shrugged
"Dude" Tuck hit his arm
"Oh are we supposed to act like we don't know" Joey rubbed his arm
"Right" Richard leaving before things got even more awkward
