Bella

I sighed deeply as I felt the sun's light beaming on my eyelids causing me to rise up slowly. As pessimistic as it may sound, I always hated waking up to sunlight.

"Good morning beautiful"

"Oh.." I stretched loudly before pushing my hair out of my face "Morning" after rubbing my eyes, I could properly see him standing against the door frame dressed in just a robe. "What time is it?"

"It's going on 10 am, you want some breakfast? I could cook—"

"No no I have a ton of things to do today so I'm just gonna wash up and leave."

He chuckled before crossing his arms over his chest "One of these days you'll actually stay"

"If I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath" I replied before heading to the bathroom to freshen up. Placing my hands on the sink, I sighed feeling my head begin to pounce. Shit, did I have a few drinks last night or did the drinks have me?

I silently stared up at the sky as I rested my head in the backseat of the car listening to the radio play overplayed tunes. After my guiltiest pleasure tried to feed me breakfast and began to act clingy, I knew I wasn't gonna ask him to take me home so I called my chauffeur. We arrived at my house within 40 minutes after light traffic which is actually impressive for LA. I once again thanked Enriqué for getting me to my destination safely before relieving him for the day.

"Home sweet home" I muttered as I entered my palace of peace....that was until I was suddenly bombarded.

"Where the hell have you been?" Jade questioned firmly as she appeared out of thin air.

"Out, I'm grown Jade." Rolling my eyes, I kick my heels off and toss my bag to the side before heading for the stairs that led to my bedroom. After having such a filthy long night, I needed to wash away the guilt as soon as possible and to pretend as if it never happened. This seems to be a cycle I can't break free of nowadays.

"Ok well I was concerned, you've been ignoring my messages"

"Now you're concerned about my well being" I thought I mumbled to myself as I shook my head

"What's that supposed to mean"

I sighed stopping in my tracks before whipping around to see her stand at the end of the stair case "Jade why in the hell didn't you tell me he was gonna be there!?"

She pursed her lips as she looked at the ground knowing I would confront her soon enough. I had no doubt that she felt guilty for what she'd done but I just wanted to know why. Especially since she was the one that had to help me pick up the pieces to my broken heart. I cried every night on her shoulder and she couldn't tell me that the reason for my tears, was going to be at her engagement party?

"I don't know" She began to fiddle with her fingers avoiding eye contact with me

"You don't know? That's bullshit and you know it"

"I mean, I just didn't know how to!"

"Hey Bella, I just wanted to give you a quick heads up and to let you know that your ex will be there tonight. See? Not so hard is it?" I was shouting to the top of my lungs at this point. I couldn't contain the frustration and anger I'd felt for another minute.

"Look I know you're mad at me—"

"Big pissed"

"I know I know and I'm sorry for not telling you but can you blame me?"
