Justin

I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little happy about the situation that we've found ourselves in. How bizarre is it that I'm sitting across from my ex, whom I thought I would never see again, as we discuss upcoming photoshoots and meetings that we'll both have to attend?

How insane is it that no matter how hard I tried not to, I felt ecstatic that she agreed to do this?

Listening to....whoever was talking, I allowed my eyes to wander around the table and they ended up on her...again. She tapped her pen vigorously as she nodded at every word that was said. It's amazing how someone can change so drastically over the span of twelve months. A year ago she was this crazy goofy woman that couldn't even go to bed without watching SpongeBob and now she seems to be this woman that barely even cracks a smile if it isn't about her work. The only time I see her laugh is if Jade's near...I wonder what she's like now that she's all alone in this city without her comfort people. Is she really cold as ice as she seems to be?

..........is she even alone?

"Okay great so as you guys see, there's the official contract laying before you that I've so thoroughly gone through just now, any questions?"

I shook my head "no" as I retrieved a pen from my back pocket ready to sign and to get this meeting over with. I've always hated meetings

"Alrighty, go ahead and sign those papers and your teams will get back to you regarding the first fitting for this photoshoot"

With great strength, I refrained from smiling as I signed my name along the dotted line. I looked over at her to see her sighing before signing as well

Just then, everyone began to clap and cheer at the multi-million dollar deal we've just made. I smiled knowing that deep down, she's happy about this deal being giving to her. I didn't think I would be near to witness her dreams coming true

"Wow you guys just made history, congratulations to Justin and Bella!"

The crowded room soon became empty as our teams left in a hurry as we both remained seated. I looked to my left and over to my right before staring at her

"Are you okay?" I questioned with caution. She stared at the contract without moving a single muscle, hardly blinking

"What did I just do?" She questioned lowly. Thats odd, that isn't the reaction I thought she'd have from signing this deal. I thought this is what she wanted. To be the face of Tiffany and Co as a young model. Why did she look as if she regrets everything?

"You just made your dreams come true."

She simply sighed before standing from her seat and exiting the room in silence.

Okay.....? Did I miss something?

I rose from my chair as I wanted to catch up with her before she got too far away until my phone began to ring. "Hello?" I answered slightly aggravated as I took a seat again

"Yo, so how'd it go? Y'all back together or what?"

This guy never takes anything seriously....."......I mean according to the contract we just signed, yeah." I chuckled lifting my hat to rub my fingers through my hair swiftly. "It's just business though, you know how it is"

"Business. Yeah. Right." Jaden replied in an unamused tone

"Wassup brother, how are things in Vegas?"

"Good, good man I can't believe I get married in two fucking days."

"I can't believe it either, I never thought you would settle down."
