Justin

My eyes wandered around as I watched everyone surrounding me, dancing, laughing, drinking, clearly having the time of their lives. As one might've imagined, I've been to many clubs in my life but this one has got to be top five. The music selection was actually impressive and the drinks were divine. I had a girl to my right and another to my left....so why wasn't I happy?

Mindlessly smirking as one of the very comfortable women leans in closer to whisper something in my ear, I stare directly into the eyes of the woman that once owned my heart. No matter how hard I tried to avert my eyes else where, they couldn't help but wander back to her.

Time stopped as she stared me right in my eyes across the room. There was a great distance in between our stares as I remained in the vip section but that didn't stop us from breaking the intense stare down. She hardly uttered a word to me since our worlds have collided again but right now...with her eyes...she was saying so much. The most she's said in a year.

I thought I would be able to handle coming along on this trip with her being here but seeing her right before my eyes has me regretting my decisions. What on earth was I thinking? I should've never came along..

"So what do you say?"

"O-oh huh?" She snaked her cold fingers up along my chin and onto my cheek. I was so distracted by the past that I couldn't even be present and focus on what could be my future.

"Do you want to dance?" Her eyes were filled with so much lust, they were practically overflowing with sin. It felt wrong to even look her in her eyes and to be so close without even knowing her name. It was strange that I felt this way being that this what my life has been like for the past year. Clubs, drinks, and chicks; in that order.

"Maybe?" Any man would be crazy to pass on dancing with such a hot woman but for some odd reason, I didn't have the urge to join the rest of the wedding party on the dance floor. I wanted nothing more than to sit here and drink away my emotions that I couldn't quite figure out. I needed to get drunk as soon as possible before my thoughts began to consume me

"Fine, then I'll just dance for you." As I silently watched her every move, the curvy woman slowly stood up, pushing everything off of the table creating her stage. She climbed up ontop of the table and allowed the music to flow through her body. I couldn't help but chuckle at how bold this chick was.

"Oh damn" I looked over my shoulder to see Trey, who was a cousin of Jaden. He too was groomsman "JB you tapping that?"
He asked a bit close since the music was too loud. Normally I would be all over that but I actually became annoyed with the woman

I groaned before standing from my seat "She's all yours" I patted his shoulder before taking my drink and I to the bar. I just don't know what's wrong with me. The vibes around me were so immaculate but I just couldn't get down with it. I felt as if something was holding me back but I had no idea what.

Was it because of her?

Couldn't be. I've moved on from her.

"I been looking for you everywhere!" There was no need to turn my head since I knew it was Jaden. I stared blankly down at my cup that was filled with whiskey. You know shit is tough when you're drinking whiskey straight up like this. "Wassup bruh, why the long face?"

"Oh nothing, I'm actually having fun"

"You such a terrible liar."

"Who cares? Are you enjoying yourself?"

"I am but I just wanted to see where your head was at?"

"What do you mean?" He remained quiet as he turned around staring straight ahead. I mirrored his actions as I followed his eyes.
I smiled faintly seeing her throwing her head back in laughter as Jade pulled her away from some guy to dance wildly as if they were in their own little world. I never thought I would see that smile again.
