Chapter X: A little feast

Hay Lin didn't know where she was. But all what she saw was the bright light of the sun and that she was sitting.
‘ Qi Yun forgot to wake me up? No impossible’
She saw petals of flowers ,cherry petals,it had a sweet smell. Somebody came to her ,she turned and saw a man his dark maroon hair flowing with the wind,he was dressed in white ,his striking golden coloured eyes looked straight at her with a loving and gentle gaze. He caught her two hands and sticked his forehead to hers.
- My love, let's be happy.
Hay Lin could not speak.
- Azura, I Xiao will always love you.
A gust of wind came and the bewitching man disappeared before she could touch him,then she saw her self on top of a row of stairs ,a group of people were down stairs,she could not see their faces. They gestured her hands like to come but she could not reach them ,she slipped and fell into an infinite dark pit.

Qi Yun broke out the cycle of dreams of Hay Lin.
Qi Yun  : Miss,the hot bath is ready.
Hay Lin wiped her face with  her sleeve. She took her bath,then dressed plainly and went to seat on a table,she started writing the menu.
Steamed vegetarian dumplings,
Smoked duck money bag
Eight treasure rice
Jelly lamb cake
Red braise ginger pork belly 
Matcha towel roll.
Mini sponge cake
Lotus flower cookies (the actual name is Thai lotus flower cookies)
Mango float.
Mint tea ,cold tea and chrysanthemum tea.

Qi Yun looked at the list ,some were unknown well she would trust her Miss. Hay Lin gave a list of ingredients.
Qi Yun informed Ren Chai and they went with Yu mi.
Green carefully took care of the utensils.
Hay Lin went out but she heard a buzzing sound there was a roar ! She ran to green.
Hay Lin: Green do you hear that roar.?
Green; No miss, Maybe it's because you have woken up too early.
Hay Lin: Ok.
She heard a kingfisher, hummingbird singing.
She smelt the fragrant smell of flowers.
‘ What's is happening to me, there's at least 300m from the garden,when you leave the courtyard 50 m you no more smell it’
She entered the courtyard,she was looking for lemon leaves, chrysanthemum and mint ,it took her 15 minutes to choose, she smelled and touched the leaves carefully before putting them in a bag.
She went away and left in a cool place of the kitchen.
She smelt a cinnamon odour.
‘ This is green's odour’.
Hay Lin; Green....huh?
Green was not there , Green arrived 5 minutes later.
A half hour later the other three servants came back.
‘ By the odour, I know that they are fresh ,why do I have these sudden acute senses’
Yu mi : Miss we are back with all the ingredients.
They brought out everything and placed on the table,The group of four servants rolled their sleeves.
Ren Chai: Miss,ready to do what you want.
Hay Lin: Yu mi what did my brothers said?
Yu mi: They are coming in four hours time.
Hay Lin: Well,this is the procedure. Green you take care of the tea, The rest you help me.
So everybody started working, It took two hours to finish the dishes,now the remaining two hours were used to make snacks,they had a great deal in shaping the Thai lotus flower cookies, Osmanthus cakes, the matcha towel roll,the mango float and the Chinese mini sponge cake.
Yu mi : Miss , it's amazing. The young masters won't forget you with these.
Hay Lin was still small,so Ren Chai carried her.
Ren chai: Time to tidy you miss.
These four maids had a fraternal as a rivalry relationship to see who is the best.
Hay Lin was already in the bath pool, Ren Chai left her a moment as she saw her swimming round and inside the pool.
Cherry ,lily and Mint came to play,because mint came , Hay Lin had a mint fragrance.

She came out with a towel covering her body. She heaved out a breath before calling in Ren Chai,
She dressed wearing royal blue dress , with a white outer robe ,a scarf was draped on her shoulders,a linen belt ,her hair was kept loosed well brushed.
Ren Chai: You are cute.!
Hay Lin blushed and walked out to the garden. Aotian and aoqiong were looking inside a box each. When they looked at her they had bewilderment and joy, aoqiong walked to his sister and caught her hands.
Aoqiong: Ming'er, I am sorry for leaving you and sorry to haven't played with you.
Aotian: Truly,we are sorry. By the way what are in this boxes.
Hay Lin: Your gifts and I wish you good luck,
Aoqiong and Aotian were truly touched by her act.
Hay Lin: So I also prepared a little dinner,hope you will like it.
Aotian soon remembered something.
Aotian: Our other brothers and sisters will come,uhm...
Hay Lin: Don't worry , I also made some in case of that.
Aoqiong: Ming'er your are the best.
Hay Lin slightly laughed.
