The poor animal had it's neck half cut and something was stuck on the carotid. It was sure to die.
Hay Lin had some sympathy for it,it was used to harm her.

Hay Lin no more paid any heed to her and looked at the agonising squirrel whose look was pleading her to save it.

Ren chai did it. Hay Lin made the animal to sleep then she proceeded by washing her hands putting back her gloves then she opened up the squirrel near the belly ,indeed something was pinned and it turned out to be a hairpin made of silver.
Hay Lin put it on the side, then her hand glowed with a soft light, at a fast rate the wounds closed, the squirrel felt as if he was breathing back, Hay Lin carried it and put him in the water to remove the blood and wiped it's fur.
The squirrel was scarlet red,it ears were stripes of black and white, covered by the scarlet fur,his forehead had white with black stripes on it, it's nose,mouth and the part round the eyes had white fur, a white belly and a fluffy scarlet hairy tail.
- Oh.....this the burrow squirrel of the fire type!
There was an uproar,a magical beast.
It nuzzled it nose in Hay Lin's bosom afraid.
Hay Lin: Don't worry you will not be harmed. I will avenge you.
Bai Fang: You revived the squirrel that you killed.
A laugh came out it was shallow,cold but alluring and charming could make a girl's heart melt. Nangong liuyun looked at the scene.
Nangong liuyun: Bai Fang,If you were mortally hurt by somebody who wanted to kill you but later who saved you , will you go nuzzle into the person's bosom like the squirrel?
