Chapter 4

The huge gates opened and a man and a lady appeared before us. The man was GINORMOUS and fat, and the lady barely had any clothes on and a very uhh.. unique hairstyle.

"Will all the applicants who passed the first phase please enter." The lady spoke. "Welcome all. I'm Menchi, your examiner for the second phase." "And likewise I'm Buhara." The big fat man said. Something started rumbling. Was it an earthquake?

"Sounds to me like you're getting hungry." Menchi said to Buhara. That was his stomach!!!???? "Not just hungry, I'm famished." "That settles it then. Your second phase... will be cooking!!!!" Menchi shouted. "Wait, we're cooking?" Hanzo said. "What do you mean we're cooking? We came here to take the hunter exam." A fat man with brown hair said. I already didn't like him. He seemed so annoying.

"That's right. The second phase of the exam will be to prepare a meal that'll satisfy our palates." Menchi explained. "Why do we have to cook?" A random person said. "Don't you know? It's simply really, because we're gourmet hunters!"

Then everyone started laughing. I don't get it but of course that fat guy started the laughing. I got pretty mad at that so I decided to tease him a little. "You ought to be grateful we're cooking!" The annoying guy stopped laughing and turned to me looking pissed. "Huh? You wanna say that again?" "Hana, what are you doing?" Kurapika asked. "I said you ought to be grateful we're cooking. From the looks of it you look like you cook a lot, wouldn't you say?" I said, smirking.

"You better wipe that smirk off your face-" I cut him off "I mean how low down do you have to be to make fun of a gourmet hunter. You're not any kind of hunter. So she's essentially your senior. Just because she specializes in cooking doesn't mean she can't fight. In fact I'm sure she could kill you at any time if she wanted. Couldn't you?" I said looking over at Menchi. "Why you!" The annoying guy was about to start running towards me when Menchi intervened.

"ALRIGHT NOW SHUT IT!!" Menchi looked pissed. "What's your name girl?" "Hanaku Yakuro" I answered. "Well Hanaku, you're right. I could kill all of you here if I wanted to. So do respect me." Menchi said. Everyone tensed. "So, what exactly do you want us to make?" The annoying guy asked. "Buhara?" Menchi asked. Buhara then stepped up and said " Today's required ingredient will be pork."

"Pork? You mean like pig meat?" Another rando said. Buhara continued. "Feel free to use meat from any species of pig in the Visca Forest. As you'll see, you'll use these cooking facilities to prep your pork dishes. To pass the exam, you must create a dish to satisfy our discriminating palates." Buhara explained. "But we won't be evaluating taste alone. So take this seriously. Is that clear? When we've both eaten our fill, this portion of the exam will be over." Menchi intervened.

"Okay, enough talk. Let's just get to it, alright?" That annoying guy said. "Let the exam's second phase BEGIN!" Buhara raised his hand and smacked the freak out his stomach.

We all ran off to the forest to go find a pig to cook. I was actually quite good at cooking because my dad had taught me, and I could tell that the food has to look good as well as taste good.

"We gotta catch a pig and cook it, huh? Man, this will be way easier than the first phase." Leorio said. "I just hope it's that simple." Kurapika added. "Don't be an idiot. This is part of the hunter exam for a reason, so it must be hard." I said. "Yeah she's right." Kil agreed.

Just then Gon slid down a hill and me and Killua followed, and Kurapika and Leorio followed us. Me and Kil were having a good time until we realized we were about to run into the back of Gon because Gon stopped at the bottom of the hill and didn't get up. "What the heck do you think you're doing!?" Kil screamed. "Yeah!" I backed him up. "

I found them." Gon said and we all looked over to a pack of huge pigs scrappin on bones. "Don't tell me...Their carnivores!?" Kurapika said and with that the pigs spotted us and we took out!
