Chapter 22

Hanaku's POV

I woke up to the bright sun shining on my face. I sat up in my bed and looked over to see Kil on my couch! Sleeping! Did he sleep in here last night? Now that I think about it, what happened last night? The last thing I remember is rescuing Zushi. Did Kil bring me back? Did he rescue me?

"Kil?" I said. Killua woke up and looked at me bluntly. "You're finally up huh? I woke up way before you so I went back to sleep to wait for you to wake up." Kil said, yawning. "You liar! Anyway, why are you sleeping in my room?" I asked.

"Well your stupid self got kidnapped last night so I brought you back and slept in here to make sure you were safe." Kil said. I gasped. So Kil did saved me last night? And he wanted to keep me safe? I blushed a bit. "Well, I didn't really get kidnapped. They just got mad cause I punched them, and then they caught me off guard." I said.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever...I'm just glad you're okay." Killua said softly. Kil walked over and hugged me. I blushed. "T-Thanks for saving me." I said. Kil didn't say anything, he just smiled at me. That made my heart flutter.

"We should probably get ready for the day." Kil said. "Yeah."

Killua left for the city while I stayed and trained. I wanted to figure out how to use Gyo quickly. Some time passed and I was just getting the hang of using ren, then I tried to use Gyo. I used all of my strength to put all of my aura in my eyes.

I came close to getting it but didn't quite get it. I kept working harder and harder, until I could hold it for 1 minute.

A lot more time passed, and I think I got it. Once I mastered Gyo, I still had one more thing to do. I was really pissed off about how that no arm guy tried to kill me and hurt Zushi. So if he wants a fight, I'll give him a fight.

I went to the floor I knew he was on and waited for him to walk out. I used Zetsu to conceal my presence. The moment finally came, and he was about to walk past me. I was leaned up against a wall.

I extended my leg out, and tripped him up as he walked by me. He turned back terrified to see me. "Hey, kidnapper." I sternly said. "Ya know what would be really fun? If we fought. Let's go register right now!" I said with a joyful look on my face. The man smirked and agreed.

We went and registered for May 29th.

I turned around with a bloodlusted face.

"You see, I'm still really mad about what you did to me and Zushi. So how about, instead of a regular rules fight... we fight to the death." The man flinched at my words. "It's too late to turn back now. We've already registered. Be ready to die soon." I said walking away evilly.

I went over to Wing's house to show him my Gyo. I knocked on his door. "Come in!" Wing said. I walked in and saw Gon and Zushi already there. "Oh hey Gon!" I said. "Hey Hana." I turned to Wing.

"Guess what? I think I mastered Gyo." I said with a smirk. Wing pulled up the recording of Hisoka's match. I used Gyo, just like I practiced. "There are 15 threads right? 13 for the cards, 1 for the scarf, and 1 for the severed arm." I said. I let go of my Gyo.

"Very good Hanaku. I'm very pleased with your progress." Wing said. "Osu!" I said. "I never thought you both would learn Gyo overnight." Wing said. "Both?" I looked over at Gon. "Gon, that's why you were here?" I asked.

Gon was scratching the back of his neck. "Yeah, sorry I beat ya to the jump." Gon said. I was kinda upset at first, but then I relaxed. "It's fine. I'm glad you got the hang of it too." I said.

Just then, Kil came through the door. "Gon, Hana. This is where you've been?" Kil asked. "Yeah. Were we not supposed to?" I asked. "Killua. I'm aware that you helped Zushi home last night. Thank you." Wing said.

Kil looked over at Zushi. "Are you feeling alright?" "Yes. I'm fine. Sorry to worry you." Zushi said bowing. "Oh, Mr. Wing. Can we watch that video again?...I think I just figured out how to use Gyo." Kil said, smirking.

We replayed the video again, and Killua used his Gyo. "15 threads right? 13 for the cards, 1 for the scarf, and 1 well hidden that leads to his severed arm. Keep going." Kil said. Wing played the video forward some more.

"Hisoka's aura seems to expand and contract...or does it attract certain items, similar to a magnet? Why else would his arm reattach? Or fly into Kastro's chin? It's probably the former...His aura is elastic like rubber. That would explain most of his tricks." Kil explained.

I was shocked. He actually figured out Hisoka's ability. I just stared at Kil, amazed. "Killua..You really are amazing." I said softly with a smile. Killua gasped. "Hey, don't just say stuff like that. It's embarrassing." Kil scratched the back of his head. I think I detected a tint of pink on his cheeks.

"Great job Killua. You pass...Honestly, I never expected for ALL of you to master Gyo overnight." Wing said, scratching his neck. Kil gasped and turned to us. "You guys mastered it too?" "Yeah, but we weren't able to figure out Hisoka's ability like you did." Gon said.

"So, Killua. Since you finished your assignment, I expect you want to fight?" Wing asked. Kil looked over at Gon and I. "Sorry. Guess I just got an itch to fight." Gon said. "Yeah. Guess I did too." I said. Killua gasped and had an angry look on his face. But it disappeared almost instantly.

"Yeah, I understand. Actually I already signed up for a day to fight. I'm fighting on May 29th." Kil said. I gasped. "Me too." "And I'm fighting on May 30th." Gon said. Wing sighed. "Alright, fine. I guess I underestimated your progress.

Between now and your scheduled fights, you'll practice Ten and Ren everyday. Also get plenty of rest and sleep." wing said. "Osu!" We all said.

Me, Gon, and Killua, were walking back to heaven's arena.

"Killua, Hana. Those guys threatened you too didn't they? That makes me so mad." Gon said. "Yeah, but even so, my biggest concern was getting Wings permission." Kil said. "My biggest concern is that they'll do the same thing to Zushi again." Gon said.

Kil smiled. "Don't worry. It's gonna be okay."

"Well...to be honest, they didn't threaten me." I bluntly said. The boys both gasped and looked at me. "What happened then?" Kil asked. "I was still pretty pissed about what that guy did to me, so I threatened him instead..." I explained.

"What did you say?" Gon asked worriedly. I stared at him for a second before answering. "I challenged him to a battle to the death." I bluntly stated. Everyone gasped and stopped in their tracks. "You said what!?" Gon shouted. Kil ran over to me and held me by my shoulders.

"You idiot! Why would you say something like that!? You challenged him to a battle to the death!? You could die! What were you thinking!?" Kil stopped talking once he saw my face. I had a serious look on.

"Killua. Trust me...I'm not gonna die...I promise." I said. Killua looked at me shocked, then he looked worried, then he just turned around and started walking again with his head down, and his hands in his pockets.

"Hanaku. I don't think you understand. You challenged him to the death. That's not something to play around with. I don't want you to die either." Gon said. "Chill out Gon. I already told you, I'm not not gonna die, because I don't want to lose you guys either. Also, when I fight with rage, no one can stop me." I said.

"No one?" Gon asked. "No one. But there's a downfall. Because I'm so blinded with rage, I attack any and everyone I see and it takes someone really close to me, or someone that I really love to calm me down." I explained.

"Oh I get it now." Gon said. "Yeah, so stop your worrying Gon." I chuckled. "You too Kil." Killua was walking in front of us with his head still down. Killua looked pretty mad. "Don't worry about me. They're the ones who should be worrying." Kil said evilly.
