Rishi was glaring at Arjun but the glare was completely wasted as Arjun was lost in his own thoughts. His bhaiya was acting like a fool. He was keeping his life on stake by this decision. He would regret it his entire life.

Rishi- "Aap aisa nahi kar sakte Bhaiya. Aapki zindagi barbad karne pe Tula hai woh aadmi aur aap uski saari baate aise aankh band karke Maan rahe ho!" He never minced his words.

Arjun-"Bas kar Rishi. Kab se ek hi baat bole Jaa Raha hai. Maine faisla kar liya hai. You'll have to accept it, better sooner than later."

Rishi looked at him hurt. "So you mean ki iss mamle me Mera ya Vanu ka ya even Mehu ka koi opinion matter nahi karta?" he asked him.

Arjun palmed his face. It would have mattered the most to him if it was up to him. But no! It was upto his grandfather. He had promised him long back that he would have a say in this matter. And now that man was using his own words against him.

Arjun-"Rishu, beta, please. Tu jaanta hai ki agar Mera bas chalta toh things would have been so different. Right?"

Rishi looked away. Nothing his bhaiya said mattered to him now. He knew that Arjun was wrong and he would not let him make the mistake that he would regret his entire life. He walked out of the room and dialed the number of the one person whom he was sure will deal with the matter.

As he was keeping the phone in his pocket, a shrill voice taunted from the back.

"Kya kar rahe ho, Rishi?"

Rishi closed his eyes. He didn't need her here right now. She would just worsen the matter.

Rishi-"Badi maa, aap yaha?"

"Kitni baar kaha hai tumse ki mujhe ye mat bulaya Karo? Tum uss laayak hi nahi ho!" Preesha said, disgusted.

Rishi just looked at her. He was used to this taunts and insults by now but it didn't mean that it hurt him any less.

Preesha- "Aur kya pucha tumne? Mai yaha kaise? Mai Arjun ki maa hu! Uski sagi maa! Ab aise Khushi ke mauke pe itne saare sautelo ke beech koi toh saga hona chahiye na, nahi?"

Rishi fisted his hands by his side. The word always managed to break something inside him.

Rishi- "Please baat kariye Mr. Raichand se aur samjhaaiye unhe ki unki ye iccha bilkul naajayaz hai! Aise ek hi din me--"

Preesha- "Don't you dare, Rishi Raichand! Kasam kha rakhi hai kya tumne ki mere bete ki har Khushi me taang ladaoge. Bardasht nahi hoti uski Khushi tum sab se na?"

Rishi looked at him with an unbelievable look on his face. Did she actually think that Arjun will be happy with all this? On one side, there was that selfish old man who was hell bent on ruining his grandson's life with his unfair demands and then there was this mother who thought that such a big blow to her son's life would bring in happiness. But the most upsetting part of all this was his own brother who valued others over himself to an extent that he was about to set fire to his life. Their lives was surrounded by dark clouds.

"Andar chale?" Meher asked Vansh for the tenth time.

Vansh-"I don't know yaar Mehu! Mujhe andar se feeling aa Rahi hai ki koi siyappa hone wala hai!"

Meher- "Aapne dekha nahi woh chudail kitni khush hoke kud kud ke andar gayi? Uski shakal pe siyappa likha tha!"

Vansh whacked her. "Unhe chudail mat bol. Woh jaisi bhi hai tujhse badi hai!"

Meher looked at him amused. "Matlab aap bhi Maan Gaye ki woh waisi hi hai jaisi woh hai!"
