"NO! NO! NO!" Meher yelled angrily, stomping her foot for the effect.
Vansh rolled his eyes and put on his headphones. The new trending song required way more attention than his about to be smacked sister.
Rishi sat down tiredly. He had tried to convince her gently but well she was hell bent on facing Arjun's wrath today.
Arjun's thin thread of restrain broke at her raised voice.
"ENOUGH!" he said without raising his own voice. Meher flinched at his tone but gave him an angry glare of her own.
"You have two options Meher" he started.
"One: Listen to me like a good girl I know you can be and go get ready as we'll be leaving within next 30 minutes."
Meher scoofed. "Over my dead body." she dared to say.
Rishi's eyes widened. Perhaps he must step in now?
"Two: Continue with your defiance and within the next two minutes, I'll give you enough incentives to obey me. So what will it be."
When Meher was about to say something, Arjun interrupted her,
"And let's say those incentives would make you feel like the punishment you got a few hours back was a walk in the park." he said with raw honestly dripping off his voice.

Meher was sitting in the car with an angry pout on her face. She had chosen the first option and was on her way to the hospital.
"Meher?" Arjun tried gently.
Meher looked at him with a sad face. Perhaps, she needed to change her tactic now. There was a chance that her sad face could melt him.
"Aisi shakal kyun banai hai, baccha? Ham hospital tere hi bhale ke liye Jaa rahe hai na." he tried to explain her.
"Waha pe mean doctor hoga! Wo-woh mujhe injection lagayega." she said in a crying voice.
"Relax! It's just a routine check-up. And guess what waha pe Abhi bhi hoga. You like him don't you?"
Meher frowned but nodded. He was good. Well yes, very good. Way better than Maahir. He really intimidated her!
As they reached the hospital, Abhimanyu greeted them. He immediately touched Meher's head to feel her temperature.
"Fever to nahi hai." he said, more to himself than others.
"Hi to you too." Meher said with a sarcastic smile.
"Meher" Arjun warned.
"Someone's grumpy today." Abhi observed. "Anyways, Dr. Mehra ke cabin me chalo. I'll talk to her personally."

"Sooo....she's a premature baby. Asthma is just an added benefit and the cherry on the top is her weak immunity. Sounds good." Dr. Mehra, a lady in her late thirties mused continuously scanning the file in her hands.
Arjun whispered to Abhi,
"Is this your 'best' paediatrician?"
Abhi rolled his eyes. "She's the best in this field. Just bear with her sense of humour." he whispered back.
"Stop talking about me like I am not here." Meher said with narrowed eyes.
"Meher." Arjun warned her for what he felt like was the millionth time that day.
"Nah.. it's alright. I don't mind." Dr. Mehra said.
"But I do. My sister is not allowed to talk to her elders that way, which is why she'll apologize right now." he said looking intently at Meher.
