Christmas pt 1

(Amelia's pov)

It's finally a week before Christmas and me and Pablo are heading over to my home town in Portugal. I was born and raised in Tavira. And I'm so excited because I'm finally introducing him to my parents. But also a little scared on how they will react. They didn't like my ex boyfriend very much so...

"Amor you have everything packed" I say zipping up my suitcase
"Yeah I have everything except my shoes"
"I'll go get your second suitcase" I say sarcastically
"Yeah I think I will need a second suitcase"
"I was joking Pablo but okay" I laugh handing him the second suitcase
"Hey I need to impress my future suegros" he winks as laugh at his cheeky joke
"Okay now let's go before we're late for our flight"
"We're fine if anything we're way to early"
"Still I want to surprise them a little early"
"Why they don't know your coming"
"Oh they do just that they don't know about you" I say quietly
"Oh yeah I forgot that's fine we will be there on time i promise" he says kissing my cheek as he brings my bags downstairs
"I'll load our suitcases in the car you just relax I got all of it covered don't you lift a finger" he says leading into the passenger seat
"Thank you amor really"
"No problem I love you"
"I love you to" I say as he kisses me passionately and heads back inside
Omg he will be the death of me.

After 20 minutes of Pablo struggling to fit the luggage's in the car. He finally found a way and started the car. We then started our adventure to the airport.

When we arrived to the airport and Pablo swore he could carry my bags and his bags. But not even 5 minutes of walking he was struggling and telling me he could handle it. But clearly he was struggling by the way he was breathing heavily.

"Amor I could carry my own bag seriously"
"No no I got it I'm fine just keep walking" he says struggling to carry his second suitcase
"I don't care what you say I'm carrying mine end of discussion" with that I grabbed my bag and walked into the entrance.
He didn't say a word because he knows better to argue with me. He knows I will end up winning the argument anyways. As he should.

After all this waiting and checking in we finally boarded the plane. Pablo decided to get first class and when I found out I was so excited it was like a happy kid getting what they wanted on Christmas kinda happy. Pablo said I was being dramatic but I've never never been on first class like ever. So I was super happy and grateful.

"Pablo Mira they have tiny champagne glasses oh and little peanuts oh my gosh" I say eagerly as Pablo just smiles putting the bags in to the cabinet above our seats
"Amor I can buy you all of this at home" he laughs
"Still this is how luxury feels like" I say resting my head on his shoulder
"Better get used to it your dating me so"
"Mhm okay mr.conceited"
"It's true im like the hottest player in Spain"
"Mhm"
"What's that supposed to mean you think someone else is cuter than me" he says now looking at me with his eyebrows furrowed
"Maybe"
"Maybe what's that supposed to mean I swear Amelia if you don't tell me who is cuter than me"
"Okay okay  I'll tell you, there is this one guy who has anger issues and is super sweet off the pitch oh and has a super cute smile I think you know him" I say smiling as he now realizes it
"Ohh yeah I know him and he doesn't have anger issues"
"Mhm you know I don't like anyone else but you"
"You better"
"Yeah yeah I'm tired let's take a nap this is going to be a long flight"  I say placing a kiss on his cheek
"Okay I'm going to stay up a bit im not really tired"
"Okay but don't stay up to late okay"
"Mhm goodnight amor" he says placing one last kiss on my lips as I close my eyes.

(Pablo's pov)

As she closes her eyes I start to finally panic. This whole meeting the parents is scary because what if they don't like me, she told me there really strict. I would to if I had only one daughter but I'm still scared. What if they hate me. Or worse what if they make her break up with me. I can't live one week off without her.

Okay I'm being a little to dramatic but still I'm freaking out. The only thing I could do is wish for the best. I tried playing it cool when she first brought it up but in the inside I was terrified. My Portuguese isn't even that good. Another thing to be aware of.

There going to hate me...

I was to deep into thought I didn't hear Amelia talking to me.

"Pablo" she says as I finally snap out of it
"Hm"
"Finally I was calling your name for like ten minutes what's wrong" she says pulling me to face her
"Nothing why"
"Yeah sure now tell me seriously"
"Fine I'm scared" I say quietly
"Por que amor"
"Because what if your parents hate me"
"Pablo-"
"Like what if they think I'm a bad boyfriend and  even worse a bad fútbol player"
"Pablo-"
"What if they think this guy can't even speak Portuguese or-"
"Pablo Let me speak for one second  first of all they won't think that they will love you second they are fluent in Spanish so stop worrying your going to be fine I promise" she says stroking my cheek
"Your right I need to stop acting like a p*ssy and man up"
"That's not what I said but yeah okay now sleep with me I'm tired"
"Okay I'm done worrying let's go to sleep"
"Mhm"

"Wait"
"What now Pablo"
"Should I bring a gift you know for your parents" I smile as she rolls her eyes and lays on her side
"Is that a yes or"
"Pablo if you don't go to sleep I swear I will literally f*ck you up" she mumbles
"Really is that a promise or a threat because that would really nice" I say with a grin
"Pabloo" she groans
"Okay okay im sorry I'm done being a smart*ss goodnight amor"
"Goodnight for reals this time I love you Pablo"
"I love you most" I say kissing her head as I pull her close and drift off to sleep
