I got the job

(Amelia's pov)

It was 5:30 am in the morning and I got up early to start my day. I wake up early to get things done like go to the gym and work. That's my routine everyday which sucks I know. My life is pretty boring, I work at a fancy restaurant near my house and get paid minimum wage. That's the only job that would higher me all the other applications I filled out led me no where. This job to but hey it's something. I stayed up all last night filling out and reading applications I sent out. All of them either said sorry to inform you but you weren't cut out for the job. Like me who wouldn't higher me I'm a great strong independent women. OH a who am I kidding my life sucks overall. I have to walk to work and live in a sucky small apartment.

The whole apartment layout smells like cigarettes and a old gym. Also I don't have a car because some dude crashed into it when I was backing out of a restaurant 4 months ago. And he blamed it on me and threatened to sue me like it wasn't my fault. I ended up paying like half my life's savings. Which was the highlight of my year. The cherry on top was my boyfriend of 2 years left me for his best friend. LIKE my life couldn't get much worse.

"Ugh I need to get ready for my shift" I said grabbing my gym bag and heading out the door.

I grabbed my bag and walked home. The walk home wasn't to bad since I had ny headphones on and was vibing. I was finally home and it was 7:30 which means I have 2 hours to get ready. I put on black pants and a plain white shirt. I decided not to put makeup today because I want to be natural or maybe because I need to buy some more foundation. I grabbed my apron and headed out the door. As I was walking my stomach growled loudly. Sh*t I forgot to eat breakfast ugh. After 20 minutes of walking I was now checking into work.

"Hey Hugo you need any help in the back" I asked tying the back of my apron 
"Oh hey Amelia no thank you but the big bad boss needs you" he says exaggerating Julio our boss
"Ugh what does he want" I said rolling my eyes
"I don't know go check I'll be here good luck" he winked

I walked into the back of the cafe and knocked on the rusty wood door. He then told me to come in which I did.

"Good morning Amelia how are you this fine morning" he said without showing no emotion
"Good morning Julio I'm alright how are you" I said with a slight smile
"Let's cut to the chance some huge footballers are coming tonight and I need you to work till they leave"
"Um yeah sure how long"
"How ever long they want they have the money so I recommend you do everything right"
"Yes sir I will"
"Okay that is all you can leave now"
"Oh um okay have a great day" I said shutting the door

Ugh I wanted to sleep in I don't want to serve some stupid footballers. I had plans tonight like eating ice cream and crying while watching the notebook. Whatever though they have money but yet again Julio is stingy with out paychecks. The rest of the day I cleaned and took orders. The day went by soothly until they came in.

They came in with a loud chatter and sat down. Luckily they rented the whole place out so I better get a good tip. As I headed over their one of the players whispered  "she looks like death"  and laughed but I had to my patience going.

"Hi I'm Amelia I'll be your server what  can I get for you guys today" I said with a smile plastered on my face
"I'll get the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken" the first boy said. Then mr big mouth boy spoke up.
"Do you have anything with vegetables" Mr big mouth said
"Yeah on the bottom left their shoulders be a category of food that only contains veggies" I said pointing it out on his menu
"Your menus are dumb and complicated just get me the ratatouille" he said annoyed
"Okay sorry abut that" I said trying to keep myself from punching this guy in the nose.

I then got everyone's orders and left. After 20 minutes I headed back to give them their food. After that I headed to the kitchen and talked to Hugo until they finished eating. After 2 long hours they finally finished eating. A tall guy with black hair and skinny jeans came up to me and WOW was he handsome. I was busy staring  until he spoke.

"Um hello I'm ready to pay"he says getting out his wallet
"Oh sorry right your total is €1,258 cash or card"
"Cash um Amelia" he said looking at my pin with my name in it
"How do you- oh right my pin I'm so dumb sorry" I said embarrassed
"It's fine I'm pedri and sorry about my friend by the ways he's well going trough that faze"he said reassuring his friends behavior
"It's fine I get people like him all the time I can handle it" I said handing him the leftover cash
"Keep it it's fine and also I have a question"
"Wow thank you and yeah what's up"
"Well it's more like a job proposition"
"Okay what kind of job"
"Personal assistant kind of job"
"Wow okay to who may I ask"
"That's the thing it's to my friend Pablo the guy who was rude to you right now he needs someone to keep his reputation good because let's just say he doesn't take anything seriously but fútbol" he said nervously
"Wow that's a big job to handle but I'm so confused though why me"
"Well like you said you handle people like him good and professionally so I thought you would be perfect for the job"
"Can I think about it"
"Yeah sure but you have one week and the offer is off the table"
"Okay thank you for telling me pedri"
"Your welcome Amelia it was nice talking to you" he said with a smile. His smile omg.

As I finished cleaning the mess they made I headed home. As I was taking my shoes off and coat something fell out of my pocket. It was piece of paper with writing on it. It read 'My number if you want the job :)' . It was Pedris number I was so shocked. I put the number on my counter and stared at it. Should I take it or no. Ugh this is so hard. I hardly know him or even know where this guy lives. I also need the money because I'm literally broke.

After 30 minutes of thinking I decided to f*ck it what's the worst thing that could happen. I created a contact and messaged him.

OMG did I just say yes. Wait wait it's in Barcelona do I have to live their. If only that guy didn't make me pay for his stupid car. I would have had some money but no. I can't believe I got the job I'm so happy being an assistant won't be that bad. This job sounds so easy. Easy money , Easy pay , and Easy life.

Or so I thought...
