Did you miss me

(Amelia's pov)

"Pablo" I ask caressing stroking pablos hair
"Hm" he says mumbling while his head was buried in my chest
"What if he you know who... comes back" I ask questionable making his head lift up
"Amor he won't as long as I'm here okay now stop worrying" he says getting up and placing my head into his chest stroking it softly
"I'm just scared" I say quietly
"Well don't I'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe"

I just hope he's right and forgot about me...

It was currently the next week and life was going smoothly. I was only 3 months away from finishing my freshman year in university. I was in a healthy relationship with no problems, and no arguments. Also I haven't gotten any texts from nick so I felt fine.

Today Pablo's going out with his friends to who knows where. He keeps telling me to come but I had to reject. He needed a day off he deserves it. He also didn't want to leave me alone. But I told it I will be fine.

Maybe tonight I'll treat myself. I'll do spa day and a movie marathon. I deserve it anyways.

"Amor I don't think I should go" Pablo says fixing his hair as I'm laying on our bed reading a book it got the other day
"Pablo you deserve I'll be fine I'll keep you updated every hour" I say heading over to Pablo placing my arms around his waist
"No every 20 minutes" he says Turing placing a kiss on my neck
"Okay fine just to prove you wrong I'll be fine okay" I say reassuring him
"But amor I'll just say I'm not feeling well it's fine I don't really want to go anyways" he says picking up his phone but I quickly snatch it
"Nope your going" I say seriously
"I love you" he smiles giving me kisses all around my face
"I love you to... now stop" I laugh pushing him away
"Okay text me at... 5:30" Pablo demandingly placing one last kiss on my cheek
"Okay now go have fun" I smile
"Okay adios te amo" he winks leaving the room

As soon as he left I was left alone so I put on 'a través del mar' on Netflix (gooood movie btw) and put on my face mask. It was honestly kinda quiet without Pablo. Usually at this hour I would hear him screaming at Pedri playing on his ps5 or whatever. So it's weird not hearing his voice.

As I was about to head over and grab a snack I heard my phone ring and ding and the same time. When I checked it was Pablo calling me and texting me at the same time.

"Hello" I say
"Amor what took you so long to answer" he say urgently
"It was only a second and I was grabbing a snack my phone was charging" I explained
"I was worried but how are you" he sighs
"I'm fine just missing you" I say seductively
"Stop don't make me turn this car around" he complains
"Your not their yet" I say surprisingly
"Yeah this traffic is horrid I'll be their at like 6 something" he groans
"Awh im sorry hopefully It goes by fast" I say
"Yeah hopefully now I gotta go traffic is moving I'll call you later love you call me if you need anything" he says
"For sure I love you amor" I say hanging the phone up

(Amelia's pov)

It was currently 7:27 and Pablo arrived about an hour ago. I had just got done texting him reassuring him I was okay. I found it so cute seeing Pablo In his protective mode. But I was fine.

Or at least I thought so...

I was halfway asleep and the sound of the tv was the only thing heard. I was about to turn the tv off until I heard a loud bang from downstairs. That's when my eyes grew wide and I quickly got up. I grabbed my pepper spray and phone and made my way slowly down the stairs. I tried not to make the stairs creek and breathe so loudly.

The light outside was pitch black making the house pitch black. I was about to turn the light on until someone did it for me. But revealed nobody. What the f*ck.

"I swear don't f*ck with me who's there" I yell trying to calm myself down
"Im going to call the cops" I threatened about to call 911 until someone snatched it and pushed me down
"I wouldn't do that if I were you" a person said sounding like a man
"Who - who are you" I groan trying to push myself up but fail as a foot brings me down
"I think you know who baby" he says
I know that voice...
"Did you miss me" the man says with the deep husky voice I never thought I would hear again
"Nick why are you here" I turn still on the floor
"You know why because you ruined me, you see after I f*cked your best friend every thing went down hill I lost everything I mean cmon we all deserve a second chance baby" he says grabbing my chin to face him
"I would never I love Pablo not yo-" I say cuts me off by slapping my cheek making me groan im pain
"Don't even say his name that- that child knows nothing he hasn't grown anything or hit anything I bet" he laughs hysterically
"No he cares about me and loves me for me he lets me be and doesn't make me do anything without my consent" I yell seeing his eyes light up in anger
"Shut up I swe-"before he could yell my phone started ringing.

Sh*t it was probably Pablo checking up on me. Nick turned to me and I turned to him. I had not chance grabbing my phone. I was to weak at this point so I couldn't if I tried. He walked over to my phone, smiled and hung up.

"Aw your boyfriend will come home and maybe find you dead but maybe just thinking" he laughs making my breaths faster
"I'm joking I'm joking who knows though" he laughs pulling my hair back
"You know you changed but not in a good way you gained weight and you hair is brown I liked it black this footballer changed you and not for the good" he whispers sending chills down my spine
"You made me insecure but I couldn't care less so do whatever you want as long as Pablo's fine" I spat
"Oh you'll regret that now let's go eat this" he says trying to shove down some kind of pill down my throat but fails as I close my lips off
"Swallow it you b*tch" he says punching my stomach
"No" I groan in pain
"Okay you want me to try the hard way I will" with that he gets up raiding the drawers. As he does that I slide over grab my phone and quickly dial 911.

"Hello" I whisper
"He-what's -emergency" the women operator says but I couldn't understand due to my phone being cracked
"Please I need help my address is-" I say telling her my name and address but the call ends with my phone shutting off.

I throw my phone and get dragged by nick.

"Cmon get up we're leaving go pack your things" he says making me stand up weakly
"Now" he yells

But before I could go up the stairs the door was busted opened by some cops. As I tried to run nick grabbed me by the neck and held the knife to my neck making my lips quiver and body to tremble.

"You shoot i kill" he yells threatening the cops
How stupid could he get.
"Put the weapon down young man" the cop yells
"Ha young man I'm a man I'm mature" he states
"I won't ask again put the weapon down or things will get messy" the cop threatens pulling the gun out slowly
"I will do it I will" he says in a psychopathic tone raising the knife
"Son you leave us no choice"

At that moment the sound of the gun shot made my ears ring. My body went numb. Both nick and me were on the floor. Except nicks mouth was hanging and his body was laying there streaming blood. I was alright.I think.

I just couldn't feel anything or hear anything. I looked down to find the knife im my stomach. At that moment I seen Pablo in front of me panicking and crying.

"Amor Amelia your okay your okay" he says grabbing my face yelling for help
"I'm fine see" I smile weakly as tears flow down my cheeks
"No yeah your going to be okay... will someone please help, my girlfriend, she's hurt... she's hurt" he cry's as two police officers pull him away, two doctors carry me to a stretcher

The last thing I could remember was Pablo yelling at two people and my vision went black.

Did I die?

But I'm too young...
