Dont act so innocent

(Gabriella's pov)

I was talking to Sabrina's Parents but quickly stopped when I heard a familiar voice. When I turned around I saw a familiar face. It was Pablo looking straight into my eyes. I was hoping he wouldn't think it was me but it was to late because he was now walking toward me. And when he arrived he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"We need to talk" he said with a serious tone

As he stood there stupidly waiting for a response I quickly excused myself and started walking towards the exit. I just needed a breath from everything and everyone . But as I was about to make it to the door someone grabbed my wrist.

"Don't walk away and Stop ignoring me we need to talk" he says as he tightened his grip on my wrist
"Let go of me" I said trying to pull out of his grip but failed
"No not until we talk, right now" he said letting go as I rubbed my wrist
"Fine but outside let's not cause a scene" I say dryly

With that we walked toward the small garden with the strong aroma of sweet flowers filling our noses up with the tangy smell of peonies.

"Why are you ignoring me" he says
Did he really just ask that...
" Oh Dont act so innocent Pablo" I say glaring at him angrily
"Okay that was a dumb question I know and I'm sorry"
"For" I say
"I'm sorry for hurting you I really am I was just scared, thinking this would happen, just the thought of  losing you scared me I mean I'll miss you and I already did these past months I've been miserable Amelia" he says placing his hand on mine but I don't dare to look him knowing I'd break.
But I couldn't help it I started crying hiding my face in pity.
"Don't cry I'm sorry" he says wiping my tears and hugging me
"I shouldn't be crying I look and feel stupid" I say wiping my tears
"You shouldn't feel stupid I should because I messed up leaving the most beautiful smart and courageous girl and I'm sorry Amelia , I'm so sorry I made you feel like you shouldn't follow your dream I'm happy for you I want you to be the best lawyer or boss whatever Career you choose I'll be happy no matter what and if you still hate me after this apology that's to bad I'll be there when you happily succeed your dream so I'm not asking for forgiveness but just to clear the air" Pablo says leaving me speechless but after 2 minutes of silence I spoke
"Okay stop Pablo this doesn't mean I forgive you but I do appreciate you apologizing so I guess we could be friends" I say smiling
"Oh thank god I couldn't stand not being near you honestly, you see these abs there not as toned as they used to be" he says lifting his shirt
"Enough of that vamos we have a wedding to enjoy" I smile leading him back inside.

As we got back inside we made our way to Pablo's table hand by hand where Pedri was talking to the groom.

"Ah Pablo there you are with-" Pedri says but pauses as he sees me
"Hola" I say
"Amelia hola I didn't think you two would be seen together" he laughs nervously
"Yeah well we talked and I think we're fine" I say looking at Pablo
"Yeah we are" he smiles
"Well that's great" Pedri smiles
"I'm going to talk to Sabrina I'll be right back" I say leaving Pablo and heading over to Sabrina who is wiggling her eyebrows

"Ahhh so you and Pablo" she says geeking
"Yesss we talked and let's just say we're friends"
"Ooo good im glad you friend zoned his ass about time"
"Stop but I still haven't told him I'll be attending school in Barcelona"
"Well are you going to tell him"
"Yeah eventually but for now we're on talking terms baby steps" I say
"True" she smirks
"Now go to your lovely husband he needs to see his beautiful bride" I smile
"Okay have fun and enjoy yourself but not to much" she winks walking away

As I was about to turn around I felt two arms grip my waist.

(Pablo's pov)

"You want to dance hermosa" I whisper
"Of course" she says facing me
"You look gorgeous in this dress makes me wanna-"
"Nu uh uh baby steps Pablo baby steps" she says slapping my cheek gently
"Just one" I beg
"Nope"
"Fine but can I ask one question"
"Hm" she hums
"What are we once this wedding ends and I end up back in Barcelona and you end up wherever you were"
"Well um I guess just friends" she says quietly not hearing my heart break in tiny pieces
"Oh... yeah" I sigh
"Well Pablo we need to take things slow I mean I still need to figure things out with college and stuff" she explains still moving to the of the soft music plying
"Yeah your right I don't want to rush you sorry for asking"
"No don't apologize it's fine let's just enjoy the moment"
"Yeah"

As the soft melody filled the air and the song 'forever my love' played inaudibly in the background. The crowd disappeared and the only person I saw was Amelia. Our body synced into one another taking each step of the rhythm as our bodies swayed smoothly and synchronously. Until she pulled away now looking up at me. Her eyes shining as they always do when she's happy.

"You know wedding are about love" she says
"Yeah" I say confused
"So that makes one acceptance" she says pulling my face to reach her height
"Wha-" I say but she shuts me me up
"Shhh" she says placing a kiss on my lips as I go with it happily, until she pulled away. I just wanted to pull her back and tell her how much I love her to much to let her go but I can't.

Baby steps...

I guess...

"Wow Amelia I-"
"Now I better go I have to help out Sabrina pick her honeymoon dress" she says leaving me without hearing what I had to say

As she left me on the dance floor i decided to talk to Pedri. He set me up into thinking it was a normal wedding. It is but he never said Amelia would be here. I'm kinda glad he did because I missed her.

"Pedri" I say from behind as he turns
"Oh hola Pablo que haces"
"Don't que haces me you know what you did" I raise an eyebrow
"Okay okay so what I didn't tell you Amelia was coming but hey look at you two now thanks to me" he smirks
"Yeah whatever you still should've told me I could've dressed up better" I argue
"Oh my god your such a girl Pablo who cares" he rolls his eyes laughing at me
"It's not funny I'm actually serious"
"Okay whatever at least I got you two on talking terms right ha" he says as I mumble yeah
"Sorry couldn't hear you" pedri says placing a hand on his ear
"I said yeah I guess"
"I know I know and your welcome now come on let's enjoy our self's"

With that we sat down and he immediately started talking to the same annoying girls that I talked to. Or they talked to me. I didn't pay attention to anything those girls and Pedri were saying. I was to busy watching Amelia come out and  sit where she was last sitting. I couldn't help but admire her, she looked so different since I last saw her. It has been two months, but those two months killed me.

The first two weeks I didn't bother to train and got scolded. The next week I didn't even bother to follow the diet and decided to eat nothing. Then the third week was when I was an emotional wreck. I cried to myself and trashed my house. And the worst part was the drinking. I didn't even think about what I was doing until I was doing it. 

But now that I have seen her my boost of energy went up and my lack of hunger craved her. She keeps me going and makes me feel things no other person can do. Because she's Amelia.
