Alora p.o.v

"I'm going to kill myself if he says one more thing," I mutter under my breath.

"I'm so sorry, but it is what it is. We just need to keep you here for one more day under observation," the doctor says.

"I think you said that two days ago too," I whisper. Elias chuckles, earning a glare from me.

The doctor smiles and walks out. "I'm killing myself," I mumble.

"Want a knife?" Elias smirks. I grab a pillow and whip it at him.

"Okay, so I was thinking—" Elias begins.

"Omg, you need a brain to think, but you don't have one," I interrupt.

Glaring at me, he continues, "Wanna hear it or no?"

"No."

"Fine then."

"..."

"I was thinking—"

"No one asked."

"Shut up."

"I didn't even say anything."

"You just did."

"Okay."

"Listen, do you want to go out?" he asks, making my jaw drop.

"Go out?" I ask, and he nods.

"Like a date?" I question. His eyes widen.

"Uh, gross, no! Not a date," he says, looking away. Before I can respond, Bruno bursts in.

"Date? Alora, you're going on a date?!" he yells.

"Who's going on a date?" Marco asks, walking in.

"Someone's going on a date?" Vincenzo chimes in.

"There's a date?" Lorenzo adds, and I facepalm.

"Who's on a date?" Alex asks.

"What?" Luca asks.

"Alora's going on a date, guys," Bruno clarifies.

"WHAT?" they all yell, making me cover my ears.

"No, you're not," Alex declares. I roll my eyes.

"Who's taking you anyway?" they ask, looking at Elias. He gulps.

"Nope, not happening," Luca says. "It's too dangerous. You're not leaving the hospital."

I groan and lean my head back.

"Sorry, darling," Vincenzo says, placing a kiss on my head.

I sigh as they bring food and start talking.

Later, Elias says awkwardly, "So"

"Let's go," I whisper, getting off the bed.

"Are you crazy? They'll have my head if they find out you're not here," Elias whisper-yells, checking the door.

"We'll make it back in time," I say, picking up clothes and walking towards the washroom.

"What if we don't?" he asks, following me.

"Then we'll be dead," I say, slamming the washroom door in his face.

After changing, I walk out to find Elias pacing nervously.

"Seriously, Alora, I think it's a bad idea. What if something happens to you?" he asks, worried.
