Alora p.o.v

"Aww," a voice echoes, followed by a hushed, "Quiet, you'll wake them up," and a subsequent "Ow." I gradually open my eyes, blinking several times to adjust to the room's brightness. As I glance around, I find most of my brothers staring at me - an eerie sight indeed! They exchange glances and apologize for disturbing my sleep. "We wanted to invite you for breakfast," Bruno whispers, to which I nod, and they depart.

Attempting to rise, I find myself restrained. Turning my head, I see Luca still in slumber. A wave of confusion washes over me before the events of the previous day flood back. "Luca, wake up," I whisper, but he remains motionless. I sigh, struggling to free myself from his arm - what on earth does this man consume to have such a heavy arm? Eventually, I manage to extricate myself. I freshen up, shower, and head downstairs.

After some wandering, I locate the dining room. Entering, I see my father and all my brothers, except Luca, seated at the table as food is served. My eyes meet Bruno's, who is in the process of filling his plate, his expression one of surprise. He then smiles and beckons me over, "Hey Alora, come sit," drawing everyone's attention to me.

I approach Bruno, who is now grinning broadly. "Hey," he whispers as I settle next to him, and I return his greeting, causing Marco to scoff loudly. Bruno simply ignores him and begins serving food onto my plate. I start eating but am soon interrupted by my biological father, "Alora, we're going shopping after this, so be ready," he says, prompting me to nod. After finishing my meal, I head upstairs to my room, only to encounter a puzzled Luca emerging. "Where did you go?" he questions, and I recount the morning's events to him.

After a brief chat, Luca heads downstairs to eat, and I retreat to my room to select an outfit for the mall. I opt for a simple white shirt with jeans. Once dressed, I descend to meet my father. "Ready?" a voice from my right asks, causing me to turn. I nod and follow him to his parked car. The car ride is silent, not an uncomfortable silence, but a peaceful one.

We arrive at a large mall that screams rich.

The mall:

As we entered, Nicolo asked me where I wanted to go. I simply shrugged in response, unsure of my preference. He suggested that we stroll around, and if something piqued my interest, I should consider it. As we ambled, I couldn't help but notice the striking absence of people.

"Why is it so deserted here?" I queried.

"Oh, because I bought this mall for you. I thought you might feel overwhelmed with a crowd," Nicolo casually remarked with a nonchalant shrug, continuing his stride. I, however, was rooted to the spot, too shocked to move. He bought this entire mall for me... but why? Why would he expend such a vast sum on someone like me?

"Alora sweetheart, are you okay?" Nicolo's voice, laced with concern, snapped me out of my reverie. "Yes, I'm okay," I murmured, resuming my walk alongside him.
