"I can't believe you!"

"This is exactly why I was against getting a cat!"

Lloyd scolds Kai as he's cleaning up the scratches on Kai's wrists.

"Well how was I supposed to know it would do this!?" Kai says, hissing slightly as Lloyd applies antiseptic on the wounds.

"The shelter person literally told us that the cat has temperament issues." Lloyd reminds him. "Just like someone else I know." He mutters under his breath.

"Now stay still. Your wiggling is only making this harder."

Kai grumbles slightly but does what he's told. Lloyd wraps clean bandages around his wrists, nodding his head at his work once he's done.

"There, now hopefully you won't get an infection."

"Mr. Whiskers claws aren't dirty." Kai protests.

Lloyd groans and says, "Why did you even name it that?"

"Because it sounded cool." Kai says with a grin.

"And cuz it makes you mad."

"That's it, I'm returning the cat." Lloyd says, abruptly standing up and walking towards the door.

Kai lets out a shout of alarm and sprints over to block the door, saying, "What?! No! You can't get rid of Mr. Whiskers! He's my best friend!"

"Then what am I? Chopped liver?" Lloyd questions, poking Kai in the chest with one finger.

"No, you're my boyfriend. There's a difference." Kai states.

"Humf, well it certintly felt the same when I was both." Lloyd grumbles.

"Hey, I still love you the same." Kai says, taking Lloyd's hands into his own.

"You're still my Greenie. My everything. I can't imagine my life without you in it."

He pulls Lloyd into him, wrapping his arms around his waist and hugging him tightly. Lloyd just leans into him for a while, until finally he brings his own arms up and around Kai. Lloyd raises his head up to look into Kai's eyes. Kai leans down and gently kisses Lloyd, trying to show him how much he cares without coming off too strong. When he pulls away Lloyd sighs and drops his arms, running a hand through his hair while looking at the floor.

"What's wrong, Lloyd?" Kai asks.

"Nothing I just..." Lloyd starts, trailing off at the end.

"You just... What?" Kai asks. Upon getting no response, he uses one hand to tip Lloyd's head back and bring his eyes back up to his own.

"Come on Greenie, you can tell me. I promise I won't laugh. Well, unless it's really funny."

That brings a small grin onto Lloyd's face. But it fades too soon for Kai's liking. Lloyd sighs again and says, "I guess I was just a little... jealous." He admits, a small blush from embarrassment creeps up onto his face.

Kai blinks in surprise, "You were jealous... of a cat?" He questions, slightly bewildered.

"Yeah, you seemed so excited to do things with Mr. Whiskers," Lloyd screws his face up into an expression of dislike before he continues, "and I felt kinda left out, which in turn led to jealousy."

"Ok, note to self, Lloyd is an attention adict." Kai remarks to himself.

"Hey! I'm not addicted to attention!" Lloyd exclaims in protest.

"Then let me go play with Mr. Whiskers." Kai says.

Immediately Lloyd says, "Not without me!"

"See, attention addict." Kai says in a slightly smug tone.

"Now if you'll excuse me, Mr. Whiskers needs some attention." He taunts, turning and walking out to find his cat.

Lloyd starts following him, so he then starts to run, and his quest to find Mr. Whiskers turns into escaping Lloyd's grasp. Kai laughs as his boyfriend helplessly chases after him. They run in circles all around the Monastery, having fun with each other. Eventually they both tire and flop doen onto the couch, where Lloyd immediately snuggles up to Kai. Suddenly he feels something soft brush up against him, and he looks to see Mr. Whiskers curling up next to him. Smiling, Lloyd decides that maybe he could share Kai's attention with this cat. For now.
