Snow day gone wrong

Sorry that I'm a few days behind. I've had a very busy weekend and just haven't had time to sit down and write. Hopefully I'll have the next few out soon.

"GUYS!!! IT'S SNOWING!!!"

There are several strings of colorful curses that follow the very loud and very rude interuption to the sleep of everyone in the Monastery.

Cole flings his pillow at his bedroom door, yelling that it's far too early to be yelling. And then, realizing how stupid he sounded, slamming his head down on his bed with a muffled groan.

Nya jumps straight out of bed, clutching a dagger, and threatening bloody murder to whoever is yelling at this hour in the morning.

Zane has by far the calmest reaction. Simply shutting off his hearing and turning in his bed to face away from the door and the commotion outside of it.

Kai is halfway to his door, sword in hand and murder on his mind, when Lloyd leaps out of their bed and tackles him to the floor. He pries the sword out of his boyfriend's iron grip and throws it so hard that it embeds itself an inch deep in the wall. Kai tries to push Lloyd off of him but the Green Ninja has him pinned down and won't let go.

Once everyone has calmed down, they all go out into the living room to find whoever is yelling.

When they get there they find a very excited Jay running around the couches, waving his arms in the air and whooping with joy.

"Why the hell are you up this early Jay?" Cole grumbles, his coal back hair tousled and his shirt is askew.

"Because it's snowing!!" Jay shouts gleefully.

"Yeah we got that Zap-trap. But why are you like... this." Kai gestures to Jay who is now bouncing up and down.

"I was having a wonderful dream. And ya know what I had to do when I was very rudely awoken?" Lloyd says. He is snuggled up against Kai's side, arms wrapped around his boyfriend's bare torso and head leaning against his shoulder. "I had to jump out of bed and pry a sword out of Kai's hands to make sure that there weren't any murders today!" He shouts.

Kai pulls him closer and whispers in his ear to calm him down. Then, turning Lloyd's face towards him, Kai presses a sweet kiss to his lover's pouty lips. Said lips turn into a smile as he pulls away and hugs Lloyd tightly.

"You are so lucky you are my boyfriend, otherwise I would beat your ass for pulling something like this this early." Nya says, crossing her arms and glaring at her boyfriend.

Jay chuckles nervously and glances between the other ninja standing in front of him. Then he realizes that one of them is missing.

"Hey, where's Zane?" Jay asks.

Everyone looks around for a moment before Nya says, "I bet he turned off his ears and went back to bed."

"I wish I could turn off my ears." Cole mutters, yawning loudly.

"Going back to bed sounds like a good idea." Kai adds on, glancing down at his boyfriend who is starting to fall back asleep. "Greenie here is almost asleep again."

The others voice their agreance and turn to walk back to their rooms. Kai scoops Lloyd up into his arms as the latter wraps his own arms around his neck.

"Wait. What? You're all leaving?" Jay says, bewildered.

"Well yeah. You're done with whatever this was, right?" Kai says, turning his head slightly towards Jay.

"Well yeah, but..." Jay starts, but Kai cuts him off, saying, "Then we're going back to bed. Try waking us up at a more reasonable time than 5am next time."

Then they're all gone, leaving a confused Jay in the living room, wondering what just happened.
