On Friday, Mr. Steadman gives us more time to work on our health projects. Nadia and Serena still refuse to do anything, and they're also too busy arguing to notice that I'm doing the research out of the three of us. I suppose it's a good thing in one way, because I can work on my own for a bit. I prefer working on my own, actually.
I'm extremely happy, since it's Friday afternoon, and I have nothing to do...
...Or do I?
I've got Enhanced French class today for an hour after school. Why is the spy agency determined to ruin my life with all these classes? Some days, you want to go straight home after school and flop on your bed and do nothing. And today is one of those days.
I grumble at the thought of Enhanced French classes, and continue my research.
"Are Nadia and Serena doing anything to help you?" asks a voice suddenly. I nearly jump out of my seat and land on the floor (but I don't, fortunately). I turn around, and realize it's Natasha. Her hair's in one braid down her back today.
"Oh, uh, hey," I say. "No, they're not doing anything. I'm fine with it, though. That means I can work alone for a bit."
"Okay then," says Natasha. "Good luck with those two, though. Norma also says good luck. She'd come here and say it in person, but she's too busy arguing with the rest of her group."
I turn around to where Norma's sitting, somewhere on the other side of the science lab. Sure enough, she's arguing with the rest of the people in her group.
"Thanks," I reply. Natasha walks away, and I continue doing my research happily alone.
I pat the inside pockets of my hoodie to make sure my spy gadgets are there. My Tracking Glasses are there, in their case. My lipstick taser is next to it, then my ID card (that's not exactly a gadget but I still carry it with me cause it's important), and my little bottle of Knock Out Spray. Yes, I carry my gadgets around everywhere in case something happens.
I consider using the Knock Out Spray so that Nadia and Serena can forget that they ever argued, and so that they can work on the project with me, but then I also realize that:
1) They'd forget what happened between the first time they argued and now, which is not a good thing, because it means a whole lot of trouble for everyone.
2) They'd be knocked out. And I can't explain it. What, do I say, "I'm wiping their memories?" Everyone would start suspecting me if anything goes wrong, and then they'd suspect that I'm hiding a secret, and if they find out I'm a spy, let's just say I'm dead.
In the end, I decide to leave the Knock Out Spray, Nadia, and Serena alone, and I continue working on the project.

At exactly 3:45, I get to room 4B, my purse swinging wildly on my left shoulder, and a binder with some lined paper and a pencilcase on my right arm. I'm expecting Katrina to be there as always, but instead, two other ladies are in there.
Right. Kimberly and Anusha are our French tutors. Well, Kimberly's Maddie's tutor and Anusha's my tutor. Kimberly's shorter than Anusha by an inch or so, and her blonde hair's curled in huge, chunky curls. She also has soft, brown eyes. Anusha has dark brown skin, and her hair's tied up in a sleek, shiny ponytail. Both of them are smiling as though they're expecting something. Well, they're expecting Maddie and I to show up.
And if you're wondering how I know who's who, Maddie and I'd previously met Kimberly and Anusha at the end of our Locks and Codes class yesterday. Chris introduced them to us. And if you don't know who Chris is...he's one of the agents here that showed Maddie and I around the agency headquarters when Maddie and I were new recruits. There. That's the end of this story.
