Chapter 21: Spies Get The Final Tests

Christmas is coming...

...and guess what?

I have a bunch of tests coming up soon.

I have a science test and a geography test coming up. Science requires you to actually understand and memorize some of the material, while all you need for geography is logic...and to memorize a couple of things.

It's not just in school that I have tests coming up, Katrina's been telling us that we're going to have a written quiz for self defense, and a practical test. She also told us that she's going to test us on how well we can hack into a certain device for Computers and Technology, and if we know how to monitor spies properly.

Katrina's also told us that she's testing us on our knowledge of surviving in the wilderness for our Triple S classes (Spy Survival Skills). So that means we have to know how to make a fire and how to light a match.

"But we can't even make a fire without dropping something!" Maddie had exclaimed when Katrina told us.

"Well then, that means that you have to do some more practicing!" Katrina replied happily.

Since Christmas is coming (I'm saying that too often), I also have to start buying Christmas presents for everyone.

Good thing I've organized a shopping trip with Norma and Natasha. I've already planned out everything I want to buy, and who I should buy presents for first.

Ugh. So many tests and things to do.

...and Natasha's birthday is also coming up soon.

Now I have something else to deal with.

"Hey guys!"

Norma and Natasha are already waiting for me at the mall. I hope I'm not late.

I check my watch, and realize that it's 1:55 in the afternoon. I'm five minutes early.

I head over to Norma and Natasha, after stuffing my phone in my purse. We head off to the first clothing store, and we look at all the clothes.

"Aaaaaaah!" Natasha squeals. She's seen a shark patterned sweater. Natasha likes all things shark related. And when Natasha gets excited, everyone around her knows.

"You gonna buy it?" Norma asks.

Natasha checks the price, and nods.

Once we're done looking around, Natasha ends up buying the sweater, Norma buys a hat, and I buy two long sleeve shirts.

We continue walking around the mall. It's decorated with many Christmas trees, and there are many bright lights on the ceiling. and we end up seeing-

"Is that Mr. Steadman?" Natasha says weakly, pointing to a figure walking towards us, walking confidently.

"I think so," Norma nods in agreement.

"Hide!" Natasha exclaims, pulling us into our favourite store that sells scented body wash, lotion, hand sanitizers, and many accessories. We do our shopping there, and the three of us emerge from the store with a bag filled with purchases.

Once we leave the store, we check to see if Mr. Steadman is around, and we don't see him. We leave the store, and head to Starbucks. Natasha buys a Peppermint Mocha, while Norma gets a Gingerbread Latte.

By the time we're done our shopping, I've bought Mom, Dad, Ryan, and Maddie's presents, and parts of Norma, Natasha, Riley, and Chloe's presents.
