I don't celebrate Halloween.
Colten and I haven't been out trick or treating since I was fifteen and he was ten. Mom had wanted to take Colten out for the night when she bailed and didn't come home that night.
We agreed to stop celebrating Halloween or any holiday ever since that day since we no longer wanted to be disappointed.
The only thing I do celebrate this day though is my best friend's birthday.
Niko for some unknown reason decided to make his way into this world on the day of trick-or-treating.
We always joke and say he wanted to be the center of attention like always.
My best friend decided to throw a party for his birthday. So, now I'm here surrounded by my classmates who are all dressed up and drunk. I am also here in a costume bBarnacle Boy because that same best friend wanted to be Mermaid Man from Spongebob.
