"You kids get to school and be safe." My mom waves at both Arius and me who wave a quick goodbye back.
Dad left an hour ago to work and Niko is upstairs still in the shower.
Arius came by so he could drive us to school...his excuse was the whole suspension from the hockey games...the truth was he wanted to see me.
Once we heard the door close, Arius turned to me with a smirk and grabbed me by the hips.
I straighten my back and feel my heart pound against my chest.
Niko is upstairs and can come down any minute.
"I missed you." He places a soft kiss on my lips and I slide my hands across his chest.
"You saw me the other night," I said with an eye roll and pushed him back slightly. Hoping he'd get the memo.
It's too risky and Niko can find out about us if we do this here.
I head to the kitchen and grab myself a water to take when we leave.
I'm taking a drink when he shrugs and says, "I can't get enough of what's mine."
His words send jolts of electricity through my body and I can't help the rush of heat that goes to my cheeks.
I put the water onto the counter before jumping onto it so I'm sitting down.
"I can come over tonight?" I whisper to him and he raises an eyebrow, whispering back, "You've read my mind."
I bite down my bottom lip to suppress a smile and look over my shoulder just in case Niko isn't behind us.
