"Just admit it, Niko, you were wrong."
"Nope, you two should've told me."
Arius shakes his head at his best friend while my parents continue to press him on admitting his wrongs. Even Colten side-eyes my brother for his words.
"And yet, when you found out, how did you react?" I raised an eyebrow at my older brother and he put his hands up in defense, "I did tell you both to never cross that line."
I rolled my eyes at Niko and turned to face my boyfriend, Arius.
Yup, I said boyfriend.
"Anyway, Mr. Delusional isn't worth trying to prove wrong." I gave my best fake smile and Niko dramatically gasped, "Me, delusional?"
My dad gives him the "This is my son?" look and it makes everyone laugh.
"Fine, I may have overreacted with the whole situation. But to be fair, she is my little sister and Arius didn't have the best reputation when it came to relationships." He waves us off and Arius snorts, "Oh, and you do?"
"Hey, this isn't about me. Let's calm down." Niko rolled his eyes and I rubbed my eyes, trying not to laugh.
A yawn suddenly overcomes me and I'm ready for bed.
"I think it's time for bed." I stretched my arms and sat up from the couch.
My dad suddenly pauses the movie and gives us a serious look.
Okay, now I'm scared, not sleepy.
"Look, now that you two are dating and I have no doubt you're both being safe. Your mother and I have talked. We do not mind if Arius sleeps in your room."
