POV Miya

"What just happened?", I heard Reki say as we both looked at Hunter walk away. "I.. don't know", I replied back with a raised eyebrow. "Tell me again what happened?", Reki asked. I sighed in irritation. "Like I already told you, I fell, I walked to the factory and resigned", I replied.

Reki turned his head towards me. "Anything else??", he asked. "No nothing, he found me and I told him he was stupid for not continuing the race. He could've won without me resigning!", I replied.

"Wait, Hunter found you?", Reki asked to which I just nodded. "Oh my god you're a moron", Reki instantly replied back. I quickly looked at him in a threatening manner. "Okey", Reki started, "just go and apologize to him tomorrow", Reki said. "For what!", I shouted back, "he could've just won the race and be done with it. It's his fault for not continuing".

"So you can't think of any reason why Hunter maybe acted like that?", Reki asked, but I just looked at him. "Nevermind, I'll go talk to him".

With that, Reki suddenly skated off leaving me behind. What's the matter with people today. I looked at Langa and he just shrugged his shoulders not knowing what the conversation was about.

POV Reki

"Hunter! Wait up!!", I shouted seeing Hunter walk away.  I was a lot faster then him knowing I was on a skateboard and he was just walking, but nonetheless, we had already left S property. He ignored me tho. The closer I came, the less loud my voice was. "Hunter holdup", I asked again, but to no avail.

The moment I came close enough that I was actually able to hear him, he spoke up without looking at me. "Leave me alone", he said angrily..

"Hunter, please.. wait up",  I said coming to a stop next to him. "Hunter suddenly stopped walking and looked right at me. "Do you know what I saw?!", he started almost shouting at me. "It happens, people fall.. what's the big deal?", I asked. Hunter narrowed his eyes at me almost out of anger. "I never saw him fall", Hunter started to which I tilted my head in confusion. "I saw him on the ground unconscious! I thought he was done for!", Hunter shouted, "I didn't how how fast I could go to see if he was still breathing! His body on the ground, without moving, and all he cared about was our stupid bet!".

Silence fell between us, and then it dawned on me. I know Hunter told me he kinda had a crush on Miya, but never would I have imagined Hunter to care so much about him..

"Oh..", I started looking down at the ground, "I'm sorry, I didn't know..". Hunter groaned in defeat. "It's not your fault", he replied. "Is that how you hurt your arm?", I asked him. Hunter slowly nodded. "Please, can I take a look at it? You're still holding it out of pain", I asked.

Hunter looked away and slowly took of his vest. My eyes widened in shock. His whole upper arm and shoulder was covered in a black and blue colour.

"Oh my god, Hunter..", I started as I came closer, "may I?". I looked at him asking for permission, and he did give me that, but without looking back. "I took his arm lifting it up and moved it aeound a bit. I could see Hunter holding in tears from pain, but I guess he was still too distracted by what happened with Miya..

"Well, the good thing is that I don't think its dislocated or broken for that matter. But you must've fallen really hard for something like this to happen..", I stated. Hunter pulled back his arm and put his vest back on.

"Do bare in mind that I'm not a doctor, so if the pain doesn't go over in a couple of days, please get it looked at", I asked worrying a bit about Hunters state. "Hunter picked his skateboard back up without saying anything. "Can you tell your parents what happened? So they can keep an eye on it too?". An awkward silence fell between us as Hunter had his back towards me. And then he broke it.

"They couldn't care less", he simply said now suddenly walking away. I kept looking at him as he made his way back on his own.

I slowly walked backwards towards S keeping my eyes on Hunter for a bit.

Pov Hunter

As I reached my house, I walked to the back to try and climb back into my window. I've done it a lot of times, so it wasn't that hard for me to do. I mostly do it to go on late night walks. To clear my head, get some fresh air. Tonight I used it to go to S..

I climbed through the window amd landed on the floor, but just as I was about to put my skateboard down, the door to my room almost violently opened. My eyes widened and I immediately stood straight up. "Where have you been", my father said with a threatening tone his voice I could see his eyes being narrowed. "I've just gone for a walk", I replied back. I haven't been gone for that long..

"What is that", he said as his pointed at the thing I was holding. "M.. my skateboard", I stuttered. "I swear to remember that I told you to throw it away", he said. Without a warning, he walked towards me. I noticed he was going for my skateboard and I wanted to try and hide it behind my back, but I wasn't fast enough. He pulled at the skateboard with one hand and with almost all the strenght I had in me, I pulled back. Tears formed in my eyes as I could feel my father rip the only thing out of my hands that was still bringing me a bit of happiness.
