Vivian's voice cut through the tense silence, "You're wrong about that, Izabella. We found something else about you." She fixed her gaze on Izzy, her words heavy with accusation. "Nina, Evy, and you, Izabella's friends. Did you know your dear friend here is the little sister of our dear previous friend Izaiah? There, I said it. Izabella is the little sister of Izaiah."
The revelation sent shockwaves across the cafeteria, as everyone's expressions turned to disbelief. Evy turned to Izzy, seeking confirmation, "Is that true, Izzy?"
Izzy looked at her friends with a resigned smile and admitted, "It's true. Everything our dear senior said just now. Everything is true. I am friends with Grey and Kira, and I am part of their group. It's also true that I am the little sister of Izaiah."
Nina, filled with a mix of emotions, suddenly exclaimed, "So, you used us? No wonder you kept asking us about Izaiah."
Without a word, Izzy continued to face the group in front of her, watching as Nina and the others rose from their seats and walked away, their feelings a mixture of disappointment and confusion.
"Aww, poor Izabella. Your friends ditched you," mocked Vivian, casting a smug glance at Izzy. Izzy, unfazed, took a step toward Chris and Vivian, but before she could reach them, Darren intercepted, gripping her collar tightly.
"I hate it when you do this, Darren," Izzy sighed, attempting to break free. "You're capable of more than being a minion to that powerless little boy. Are you really going to do this?" She paused, her voice lowering. "Even I know your history. Should we find out? In this school, the one with power wins, and the one with power is me. You know it."
Relenting, Darren released her collar. As Izzy moved towards Chris and Vivian, she calmly stated, "Believe it or not, there's a reason Grey and Kira are friends with me and why I was once called 'The Bomb.' Think about it." With that, Izzy walked away, leaving her friends who had ignored her for the rest of the day. Izzy understood their reasons but remained undeterred.
Robert Anderson's name flashed on the screen. He answered the call eagerly, "This better be good." On the other end, one of his associates reported, "Sir, we found Izabella Wilson. She's studying at Excel High School." Robert's face lit up with a knowing smile. "That's good. Great. Now, I want her picture and everything about her. Soon, I'm going to rule the business industry." He abruptly ended the call, pacing around his office in excitement. "Hello, Izabella. I am going to be on top very soon," he muttered to himself, a glint of ambition shining in his eyes.
Izabella was walking around in the W City alone. She wanted to think about what to do next. As she was walking someone pulled her aside in a small alleyway. It was the four seniors Chris, Vivian, Darren, and Summer. Vivian said 'Hello, Izabella. We meet again.' Izzy looked at them but didn't say anything. Vivian then continued 'There is no one to save you today. Where are your friends?' Izzy asked 'What do you want?' Vivian looked towards Chris, He said 'Your brother was our chores guy. I am sure you have already heard about that. After he ran away we haven't had a chores person better than him. We were thinking since your brother was our last chores guy. Why not make it a family thing? From tomorrow you are going to be our servant.' Izzy replied 'What if I say no?' Chris then replied 'Then our friend Darren here will make you do it.'
Izzy looked at Darren and said 'Are you going to make me your servant Darren? Are you going to do whatever this powerless boy tells you to do?' Darren replied 'He is my friend Izabella.' Izzy laughed saying 'His friend? You? Darren, you might not know this but everyone in school calls you Chris's right-hand man. The physical strength that Chris doesn't have. You are making your hands dirty for him.'
Vivian interrupted saying 'That's nonsense.' Izzy then looked at Summer and said 'Summer, do you really think Vivian is your best friend? I mean Nina, Evy, and Jade never asked me to spend my money on their daily necessities. I didn't have to get their lunch for them every day. I have never done their homework for them.' Summer looked at Vivian with sad eyes but didn't say anything.
Izzy continued 'Your so-called friend group, everyone in the school can see the group dynamic that you guys have.' Vivian suddenly attacked Izzy and she didn't have any choice but to fight back, Chris stepped forward to save Vivian who had Izzy's hand in her hair and the other was slapping her. Izzy then punched Vivian aside and kneed Chris in his shaft. He backed out and yelled at the other two to do something but they knew better and walked away. As Izzy watched the two walk away, she didn't notice Chris behind her and the knife in his hands.
When Izzy turned back, the knife cut one of her cheeks, Izzy then immediately tried to snatch the knife from his hand. During the shuffle, Izzy cut her right-hand palm and she was able to get the knife. Izzy punched Chris and he fell down, she continued to step on him and kicked him repeatedly. Soon after Chris gave up, Vivian was still on the ground the whole time.
Izzy pulled Chris's hair to make him face her and she said 'Didn't your parents tell you that knives are dangerous? What should I do with you? There was a reason why I let Grey and the others handle you. Now you know; aren't Grey and the others way nicer than me? I would have let them handle you today as well but you see; today you just pushed it too far.'
Izzy then went towards Vivian and started kicking her as well and she sat on top of Vivian and started to slap her repeatedly. Izzy then said 'Oh, only your right cheek is red, let's make it even' and started slapping Vivian's right side cheek. Izzy then went back to Chris and cut his neck a little enough so it stings and said 'Next time will be worse than this. Today was just a little bit of a trailer. If you mess again, I will cut your tongue and you will never be able to tell anyone what to do.'
